Today's Jerks: A Study in Hubris.

What a Pompous JERK!
While here on vacation, I was exposed to CNN. I am watching a story about Dr. Ben Carson the new Republican darling. They had to 2 guys on and of course the conservative was an African American. It was so damned trite. Dr Carson is just mouthing the standard Republican line that white liberals are the REAL racists. They are cause they put black conservatives in a box and they do not want blacks  going "off the reservation." I know a doctor at Johns Hopkins. I must ask if he has met this Dr. Carson. To me, he is an egomaniac who thinks he is just so much better and all-knowing. I mean I am one of "Those People" he calls racist. Man, maybe I will visit my friend in Baltimore and meet this Dr for coffee and we can chat about his views on gays, liberals and others unworthy to breath the same air as he. He is a right-wing jerk plain and simple and he being black makes no damned difference to me. He can get off his "reservation" and pound sand!

Another story that they continue to run is about the Rutgers coach Mike Rice abusing his players. A video came out showing him verbally abusing his players. He is also shown pushing, shoving and throwing basketballs at his players. The athletic director Tim Pernetti knew about it last Summer and gave out a 3 day suspension and told to go to anger management classes and fined him $50,000. Well, this par for the course for big time sports. Apparently coaches are a protected class. I think the public outcry may force Mr. Rice to receive his walking papers. Lets hope so. YO!! They JUST fired him just now!!
Even Gov Chris Christie was appalled by this behavior:
"Governor Christie saw the video today for the first time and he is obviously deeply disturbed by the conduct displayed and strongly condemns this behavior," spokesman Michael Drewniak said. "It's not the type of leadership we should be showing our young people and clearly there are questions about this behavior that need to be answered by the leaders at Rutgers University."I think Tim Pernetti should be fired. This coach was not EVEN winning many games and Mr. Pernetti now looks like a real jerk. I mean lets get real. Here is a quick poll taken by  Bleacher Report show overwhelming support for the firing Mike Rice.
What do you think of Rice's firing?

Completely justified
91.3%

Here it is! I guess THIS convinced Tim Pernetti to FINALLY  fire him.
This would have NEVER happens if a disgruntled employee  had not brought it to the attention of Rutgers administrators. This man was fired for insubordination and I believe a lawsuit is going to happen. Here is Tim Pernetti defending the "slap on the wrist" suspension.

This shows that transparency is vital to rooting out the corruption that comes with a closed society with large institutions you know like the Catholic Church and Penn State.
Now its time to hit the beach and chillax now.
