Feb 27th: A Day to Fight a Cold

Getting Home
Today is the third day in a row that I've been fighting off this throat cold
Rush Hour at 57th Facing Market
seems to be going around. going to bed around 9 o'clock last night so I felt ok when I woke up. I get to the sunrise and that went pretty well I even shared for a change.
I told away at work and got pretty much done what I wanted to get done which is always a good thing.
Work is done and I'm now meeting a friend at the Starbucks at 16th and Walnut. Yes I am running a little late. It's really cold out today and I'm told by my supervisor that it even going to be colder tomorrow so probably a sweater would've been a good idea tonight

February 26: Snowy Hump Day

Snow at 9am
Good morning seekers of carnal knowledge. Today is Wednesday, February 26, 2014. It is 8:45 AM right now and I am waiting for the L to have gone direction are still waiting
The View from the EL
for the westbound EL to show up. It's a good thing I didn't hang around Laukalo too long since it is Wednesday and I have to be on call starting at 9 AM.
Did you know there's 18 available doors on the Morning EL
Outside My Place

all that snow ended before 1 PM. And not a lot of it's stuck. It's just now cold and sunny and I'm going to get some lunch since my appointments have not shown up. It's good to take advantage of a lull in the action.

The rest of the day was not too bad I got a lot of stuff done I think which is pretty good. Got real tired of being the third so I came home and talk to the phone in the bed I think. I think I'm fighting off something

Tues 2-25: Tired Tuesday

I woke at 6:30 today and did my usual ride on the 21 bus down to 19h & Walnut.I got my commitment she turned in tomorrow morning. Afterwards I went to La Columbe coffee.
Writing a Narrative
I had a wonderful person at 16 years under her belt. Very nice person very smart and easy. Just about my which I she should look
My Work
at when talking to me. Believe it or not that's how it started.
It was worth being an hour late to work to have
Snow Dusting
a one on one person. Very well respected and liked in the group. It made me feel good that I can engage and I can be turning into my own head.
Well around 9:30 AM it started to snow. I think were going to get 1 to 3 inches. It turned out
Waiting for the 21 after work
that it was just a band of flurries me did not get any accumulation.
I worked pretty hard at work and 21 home with Peter came home and crashed 9:00PM. Neither went to the meeting at seven or videotape with Pat a talk telephone and went to bed

Feb 24: The Cold Returns

The call returned. I was underdressed for the weather since I was used the warmth of Saturday and Sunday.
It was a normal Monday. I am working on applying for my secured credit card. I am planning to possibly go to Maryland Friday night or go to  an erotic book signing Friday night.
I got some stuff done at work and then went home with Peter. He came with me to the Monday night beginners and I think he really enjoyed it. It was the most rewarding part of my day. The calling for snow this week one to 3 inches one more week of February

Sunny Sunday: February 23rd

Archway at PAFA
This day was the best day we've had all year sunny and mild. There's nothing bad to say about it.
Walking down Broad Street
I went to the bar none and enjoyed that very much. Then I proceed to come home and hang out with Dean for about an hour. I then met up with my friend and we took the train down to 15th street to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. We hung out and talked for 30 min. We then met Larry and Veronica. They brought on a friend from their sailing club who lives in Delaware.  We all then went inside the Academy. That building is beautiful

Real Cool
The exhibits were really cool and I got a good lesson in color theory. I learned which colors are opposites on the color wheel. I never gave it much thought before it's pretty cool. The old Academy building is a architectural

masterpiece. I didn't realize how old the Pennsylvania Academy was but I think it opened in the early 1800s.
Mosaic Tile
The last exhibit we saw inside was a film people going through water color. I think it was illustrate the fine line between life and death. I think the artist mentioned that too.
Impirial Inn
We then eat at a place called Imperial Inn in Chinatown. Food was pretty good and we split an entrée. The tables very large Soleri Veronica
Veronica Larry and Friend
and her friend look like a far far away is spinning table in the middle week's you move your food around. After that back to my place and then chilled out with Dean and that was it good day.

February 22: Gallery hopping

Well here are my initial impressions of my visit to the old city galleries.
The  first gallery I visited with the Roger LaPelle Gallery. Upon entering, I had a casual conversation
with Roger LaPelle   He was pleasant gentleman and he was also very elegant as well. and he has been in the old city Gallery scene since 1980.  He

inquired what I did for a living and it was a very pleasant conversation. He is a good man. I would love to be able to have her interview with him I asked about presenting a new artist to his gallery. Is very honest with me. he is backed up with future exhibits. After meeting him I felt pretty good
Next I paid a visit to Gallery Joe.  The woman I met was quite snooty with me. I got the impression that it will difficult to break though. Apparently,  to get shown in these galleries you have to do a lot of schmoozing and meeting people.  I thought maybe of going up towards the Frankford section sometime and strolling those galleries. They might be less stodgy and pretentious. Then again, I don't know I've only been up there a few times. My wife got her work there up there once for a Twin Peaks themed show years ago.
Also David Lynch is is having a rappers retrospective show at the Academy in September. I'd like to go to that!!

Fine Saturday 2-22-14: Hint of Spring.

So it's a nice Saturday had here going to the ethical society it's going to be mild out too.
I went to two meetings and then I decided just like me not troll around the old city galleries. I think my expectations were little high but I did have a
conversation with one of the gallery owners. And I did send a Facebook text to someone I met while I was living in Millville. She is a member of the DiVinchi Art Allience for any tips. My phone then died
and I went to the Ritz at the Bourse to check what movies are playing and charge my phone. It was very nice out today, in fact
extremely nice.  Well I decided to get myself a pedicure and boy that felt good. Next I got a massage at 6:30
I then caught the 42 bus owards 44th wallet I'm tired I think it's going to be a early night to sleep,

Tom after getting off the 40 off the 21 paying caught a glorious glorious sunset. It was unbelievable reds and oranges and blues so true for you.
Hung out with Dean a little bit then I shocked on over to for some pine and that was nice and actually so was the weather it's a nice night to be outside. It's not warm but it isn't fruit frozen tundra either.
The View Outside my Place
After my friend watches the pilot episode of the streets of San Francisco we had a conversation and then ate my leftover Indian I bought Thursday.I listened to iTunes radio on the way home and it's not bad, but the commercials kind of suck. I for some reason can't get the other station to work

Thursday, February 20: eight days left of February

Greetings to one and all this early afternoon February 20, 2014. It's a fairly mild day and the sun is still out. Our computers are crashing so I decided to take an afternoon
Rushing to Spring
break and still outside and enjoy the weather. It's going to be mild and start to rain tomorrow and then by next week in the middle of the week with another polar Vortex coming
A Taste of Spring
to freeze our butts off again in the middle of next week.
We're just slogging along I have group tonight.
I did see Pat any certainly have some delicious pasta. This weekends up in the air I going to try to get some plan together. Signing off 1:57 PM.
I am pleased that the rain has held off and I met up with Larry at the Starbucks along with another friend. I fortunately realized I forgot my backpack very quickly I went back and got it but it's still fairly mild out and they have the corner of 15th and Walnut one of the corners all under construction.

Dream

I really had a vivid dream last night or shall I say aseries of dreams. First off my brother John became Supreme Court justice but the same time he was also the Supreme Court gym bellhop. Someone I  also went out for a drink I don't know with whom or where but it has been the second time.  I didn't tell anybody but I was  feeling kind of concerned… At  the very end when the alarm is ringing the
a bunch of  cartoons w came up and was silent but were making the same motions over and over again.

Pat's RC Planes
At work I was stuck doing just dumb stuff to take up a lot of time so I didn't get as much done as I'd like. Now I'm planning to go to pats
Pat at Home
around 630 and record stuff. I'm a little nervous guy think I might have deleted some of the programs to record with when I

was running out of room on my camera.
Going to pack and hanging out. Lots of search follows there and then fell asleep. There was no recording made time to say good night.

Sunday Feb 16th:

4th Street
Good morning folks who can't wait for spring this is Mark reporting. Yesterday I had a fantasy of going to Savannah Miami and EVEN  Portland Maine since I have an extra day off.
After Bar one
Anyhow some sidewalks have a nice sheet of ice but I made it on the 21 bus so I can catch the 57 hopefully.
Boy the bar none was packed minutes to fit everybody
Nice Fella at Bus Stop
in. I liked it as usual. Then I hung out with my friend and her boyfriend and walking North on  3rd Straight street to catch the L so I can take the train to Melrose
Waitig
Park. I originally wanted to catch the 40 bus to the University City train station but the 40 bus was already running 10 minutes late and I had ONLY a 10 minute leeway.
Add caption
Well I got  the train on time with 10 minutes to spare after my 15 minute walk up 3rd Street. That's because the EL showed up 2 minutes after I got to 2nd and Market. Train is pretty packed on a sunny cold Sunday early afternoon.
A Winter Wonderland

I got to Amy's place and helped her with ice and snow removal from her steps. I'm glad I was able to help her with that kind of duty. Her steps are very steep, we then we went
Cute Pig
out for coffee. We ate at her place and chilled. I then caught the train and overslept and missed 30th Street. so now I waited at CHOP for the 42 and went home to bed.
for the 42 bus which is taking me to 44th & Spruce.
