Monday, August 18: Drizzle in the AM

Well, I woke up after a pretty good sleep. Had trouble getting to sleep once I was asleep. I was fine. I sat in the last minute to take a shower, then walked out and saw that it was drizzling again. Hopped on the train around 8:35 AM And saw this article that McGlinchey’s bar at 15th St. is closing forever. I was last there with Bob and it was so smoky. It’s the last of the smoke filled bars in Center City Philadelphia. Today was a quiet day where my arm felt tired, especially my left arm felt very tired. Mike made arrangements to hopefully get his blood drawn tomorrow for his big appointment tomorrow. This will be the first appointment. He’s cap since his knee started getting bad. Tony, the physical therapist came over and he even offered to come over and keep an eye on Mike as he goes down the steps for the appointment to meet the band pool service. As for today, it was cloudy humid, but a lot cooler than it has been for the last several days. I was kind of blah being a Monday. I guess I did resolve an issue with the Slavic 401(k) that I have to deal with for taxes and pay a $16 bill for the labs done in June. I also realized I took money that I transferred did not transfer so I caught that in time thank God. I brought some extra clothes and didn’t do much videos for today. The gas and the Gavin Newsom means are hilarious as shit though!!! Had to walk all the way back to Mike’s two blocks down because I forgot to sign out so it’s 351 and I’m just hitting Locust Street when I like to be in the studio by 3:50 PM so there’s that. Well, I went to the class and it was challenging. I showed up last minute so I had a place right next to the window which I never have positioned myself in my 3 1/2 years going to the studio. I was right next to Marie, that was nice. I struggled to this class today, but I made it. My arms are kind of tired, especially my left one and I worked pretty hard today. Glad I had that energy drink. In fact I have to get more of them cause I think I’m out or I’m running out. Anyhow, after class, Mary and I hung out a bit but not as long as usual cause she was she’s getting ready to go to a Phillies game. The Phillies are playing the Marlins so she went off to see the Phillies and I went back to the apartment brought her clothes back made some iced tea and took a quick nap of about 11 minutes. And then went to my meeting only a tiny bit late. The meeting started at 6:45 PM not 7:15 PM like I keep thinking. Well so far as of 8 o’clock Mary has gone to a good game at six. Nothing Phillies they scored six runs in the bottom of the second inning. I’m ordering for samosas at a place called curry leaf. Usually we get the samosas from the yoga studio, but they didn’t have any today so we decided we would get samosas as per Samosa evening.
