Monday, October 26: Mike’s Move is On

Good day everybody today is the start of the last week in October. I woke up had breakfast and then headed out to Mike’s. I tried not to be as late

which I wasn’t but I was still late. I then got the Mike and we eventually did walk. We tried to call the Scottish Rite House and they first didn’t answer. We

finished our walk and I went to CVS and picked up scripts for myself and Mike. I got my statin and Mike got 2️⃣ other prescriptions. I

did write to the people I met at the Penhurst movie last night. The woman responded, but the gentleman had not yet. I did tell Alice about it. She was pretty

excited about it. I’m sure we’ll talk at length about that. The Scottish Rite House was called around 215 and move-in is can be started as soon as the

lease is signed she said something about possibly getting the lease signed as early as tomorrow. I’m not counting on that but I’d like to have it signed by

Thursday if that’s possible. Sooner we get started moving the better. Anyhow, I was distracted. I didn’t get that much done on the moving friend. I’m trying

to get Mike to consolidate his stuff, including his childhood memorabilia that he dug up somewhere. Anyway, I’m heading to Yoga. I got out of Mike’s a little bit late cause I was on hold with Medicare they didn’t get my payment because it was from the old checking account. So I’ll have to pay after I get a paper Bill but Medicare assured me after waiting 30 minutes and everything is all right. 

Monday, October 19: Cool! Preparation and Yoga

Good morning everybody today is Monday. I woke up to a 43° temperature. So I brought in my big bundling Sweater which was really good because it kept

me warm. I then ate breakfast, which was oatmeal. Got to Mike’s after 9 o’clock. Mike’s food that was delivered last night was there I picked that up went to

his place at a little bit of basic cleaning and then eventually Mike and I went for a walk. It took a while for him to get ready. We did go out and we declined

to go to the senior center since we were running late. I ate lunch and I talked to Mary for a little while the whole PA court thing was a spoofing exercise and it was much to do about nothing, which

was good. I then went to both CVS pharmacy in the alternative pharmacy. The alternative pharmacy is not gonna service Mike’s Perscriptions from

now on. They’re gonna concentrate on specialty drugs and blended drugs or whatever I got some stuff for my hemorrhoid which is acting up more

than has in a long long time. Anyhow, I’m getting ready for yoga. I updated yesterday‘s blog posting. It’s a beautiful day out. Start off really cold not a cloud

in the sky! It’s supposed to be some nice weather for the week. Anyhow, Mike’s Pepsi did arrive and I’m not drinking one now. It’s a little late in the

afternoon. It’s 3:23 PM. Be going to byron’s class and continue my day in the cool brisk weather of autumn. Believe it or not next week is the last week

of October, which is kind of mind blowing really Mike is not sure he’s gonna get his colonoscopy next week due to being hospitalized, but he has

to wait for his heart doctor. Call back or write him back so we’ll see if he’s not busy playing golf to respond to his patient. Actually, I was incorrect.

Mike told me the colonoscopy is been has been postponed due to inclement Health. So that will not be happening on Monday, but at least you found out before

he started taking the colonoscopy prep, which is pretty nasty! Well, signed up for class and found out that Tina subbing for byron this evening. I guess

she’s getting her substitutions in before she goes off to Thailand for about two weeks. She’s been there before. It’s still remains sunny outside not a cloud in the sky. .

Monday, October 12: Nicer Day. Mike’s & Yoga. Right Knee

Good day everybody have a really miserable Sunday. I woke up to it being cloudy but not raining. Eventually, the sun did come out and it was turned to be

a nice looking day today. Completely different from yesterday with a drenching rain made everything damp. All my clothes did get dried, which was

good. Mary had a PT appointment at nine this morning. We both got up early. She got me some coffee, which was nice. Then I arrived in Mike’s around

9:12 AM and did some stuff in the beginning of the day and then we did go for a walk. Mike got a call from the landlord that they’re gonna finally repair the

tile in his bathroom after a year of doing nothing. I would say maybe longer than a year. I just don’t remember. Anyhow, Mike did some cleaning of

the bathtub. I eventually got to the bathtub and had to flood the water cause he couldn’t bend over to unclog the water and ended up having to sweep the residue

. He put the toilet thing backwards that was easy to repair and then next thing you know was trying to go to Yoga. Also forgot to eat the leftovers that I brought

with me from Mary’s. Hopefully, it’s still good. I smelled OK when I checked it out but I’ll test it out tomorrow. I ordered a bunch of food for Mary’s and Mike’s place. One of them had to be delivered through “Amazon now.“ I didn’t want to order through them, but they kind of forced me too because it was something we needed, which was pasta sauce so it did arrive on time but Mary had a late leave later than she wanted to do her laundry. It’s now 3:47 PM. I did a pretty good pace. I’ll like to get there by 3:50 PM. Well, I went to class and it was good. I felt really good in class today. After class, I went up to put up my Matt and I felt a twinge in my knee. Made an appointment with Dr. Stillman for tomorrow.
