Friday, August 29: McGee Rehab, Cold, Mike emergency room

Good day everybody after a rough night of 101° fever I got up and feed her fever had subsided. I was down to 98.1. I still felt funky with runny nose and tired. Also, my shoulder was very achy. I’m sitting down having toast and eggs at Mary made me which were very delicious. I thought I might rolled off his bed and it was stuck on the floor. Fortunately, Mike sent a message to both Tony and I and Tony came over and by the time I got there Tony had lifted them up to a stool and then and then he lifted them up by the show. I couldn’t have done that Mike would’ve been in the hospital if it weren’t for Tony coming by. I had an 11:15 AM appointment with McGee rehab at Riverfront. The guy saw me was an intake person and he was pretty thorough. He did some range of motion things and yes, they do electronic stimulation and at some point I’m able to take a device home with me down the road. He has me scheduled for two times a weekwhich I think is appropriate. I asked him about Yoga & he says as long as it doesn’t cause pain that I’m OK, but I’m not doing yoga today. I’m not doing anything today between my cold and my shoulders. It’s not a good idea today first I wore a mask in a couple years. Well, after I left McGee, went back to Mike’s and he was talking to his famous doctor Dr. Shalaby, who told him that he should go to the emergency room to get checked out so after taken care of his personal stuff, we went down the steps and took an Uber to the emergency room. Well, they kept seeing him sending him back out seeing him and sending him back out found out. They tested CAT scan on the sprain checked his wrist and checked blood I couldn’t do it all at once they had to do it on separate trips. Anyhow, I’ve been decided that it was a good idea to pick up my artwork and Mary’s artwork from the Sketch Club and I went down there and picked up the work and then I signed out at Mike’s house officially from work. me. I then went back to the emergency room they weren’t done staring at his blood test. It now 5:02 PM and we’re waiting for the Uber ride to come in. Well, we’re using LIFT in every so often they just have people drop you we were dropped twice and it’s now 5:17 PM and the guy will be here for four more minutes so we’ve been out here a little while this emergency door opens. It opens all the time even when nobody’s walking in. Well, as I was wobbling over to Mary’s really slow I got two pieces of very good news that came floating in late Friday afternoon while it’s 6:09 PM so it’s not that late. The good news was a judge told SEPTA stop the cuts and the fair increases. I’m not sure that the judges decision will restore the 12 bus or other buses that got delayed and scrapped. They stated it was because the buses that effect mostly poor people were cut first before the proposed cuts for the wealthy suburban people that would’ve taken affect later in January. I’m glad somebody spoke up. Also an appeals court backed up a lower court, saying Trump didn’t have the authority to impose, tariffs by himself. Now, obviously this is gonna go to Supreme Court who seems to be very pro Trump and pro executive power so it’s nice to see that Trump will have to sweat it a little bit. Well, turns out I did get Mike back home and then I left and walked slowly to Mary‘s. I got to Mary‘s and we just decided we to order out since both of us are not feeling in tiptop shape at all. My fevers died down, but I’m still very stuffy in my arm is not what it should be. We ended up watching the last two episodes of season two in Law and order. We can’t get season three without having to join Hulu. Anyhow, we just hung out and we’re not doing yoga tomorrow for sure. No way can’t be doing that when you’re sick and the arm is just in a relapse of sorts. I do, however, have a doctors appointment next Wednesday and then also another doctors appointment on Thursday to get this thing looked at.
