Tuesday, August 19: Mike’s Appt.

Well, I got up extra quickly this morning so I could be at Mike’s on time. I grabbed an egg sandwich and eat that while waiting a half hour for the van pick up Tony was already there helping out Mike to get ready and I ended up forgetting to sign in. I did not notify them that we are at the hospital so we went to the hospital appointment. I went ahead and grabbed the Mike’s router, which was at 920 Walnut St. we’re basically an eighth near Locust. Anyhow, Mike can’t get a blood draw here so now the day is become a lot more complicated. We have to get a blood draw somehow get Mike something to eat and then get a ride home. I’m sure the stupid fan service is gonna make it complicated so we’ll see. Well, Mike was able to change the answers to pick them up at 1 PM at Pennsylvania Hospital and they do blood draws Rite Aid Ace and spruce which is basically a half block from Manning Street so that worked out so it’s not 11:17 AM we just entered the building. 11:57 AM. We have left a building just like Elvis did way back in the day. So we got out quicker than we thought so we gave the taxi service a wide birth. You’re gonna hang out and I might get myself a Pepsi after I drink the super coffee so it’s a nice day. It’s not too hot not the sun isn’t boiling so I was just going to chill for an hour and outdoors watch people go by which is a good way to make a living. Anyway, I’m logging and listening to Velvet Underground song “waiting for my man.”. It’s a nice day to wait if you’re gonna wait an hour and sit this is got to be it I think. I guess maybe do some doom scrolling on it on threads we have really gross people doing gross shit and it being reported. I’m talking about our federal government specifically the leaders in the federal government that is. Well, the van service came at 12:57 PM. We got back and Mike went up the steps in three steps. I didn’t do all that much when I got back. I just ate lunch. Served up my lunch and did a little cleaning around the corners. Mike will install his new router tomorrow. He still has Internet access. It’s just that his routers really old and part of it’s falling apart. It’s now 3:42 PM and I am walking down 15th St. I signed up for Tina’s 4 o’clock class today. Today is really nice and cool and the skies have cleared up since this morning which is nice.
