Sunday, August 31: Visiting mom Working For Mike

Well today I woke up and I didn’t have to wake up quite as early because the cleaning woman wasn’t gonna be able to come. So I got up around 9:15 AM. Had some cereal and fortunately called 21 and the 111 bus out towards Mom’s. Mom is in good spirits today I got in pretty soon before her lunchtime took a nice picture and I showed her pictures of herself and other people that was nice. I then caught the 110 bus back to Millbourne had lunch took a nap. I’ve got ready to go to Mike’s and as I was catching the train towards Mike’s and walking, this is five blocks to his house. Mary called and told me she had tested positive for Covid. For sure I had my mask with me so that was good. I didn’t do much at Mike’s but did a little bit around the house and then I went to the CVS to purchase for Covid testers two test in each box. Obviously we’re not doing the 30 day challenge this year. Between my shoulder and and this Covid/cold we ain’t doing anything like that this year. It’s just too bad. I do have three appointments this coming week one on Tuesday one on Wednesday and one on Thursday. It remains to be seeing how I feel for the next few days. Mary’s not feeling that great at all. She has a real wicked cough and it’s stuck in her chest. So I’m gonna go find out if I have Covid sometime after 8 PM tonight. Well should’ve known I do have Covid. And thankfully it’s been much mild or so far than the last version I don’t feel that complete exhaustion that I did last time my fever spite Thursday night around 12 midnight into Friday and since then I haven’t had a fever, thankfully. I do have a scratchy throat, but no cough which is a relief. Mary seems to have it more severe. She’s got a lot of coughing. Phillies choked against the Braves, three – one. They wasted a good pitching performance today. We watched the show called Gordon Ramsay, Secret Service. They did a show about Dahlak Ethiopian restaurant in West philly at 47th in Baltimore. Apparently this was done about two weeks ago. They recorded it. It was a really lovely show.

I must say. The family was really nice.

They were very unorganized. Mom was working too hard. And they did some renovations and changes of menu and it was really uplifting. Both Mary and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
