Monday, September 27: I Adopted a Cat!

Well this is Monday and Mondays are generally difficult days

for me because I’m always tired. I mean I’m really tired on Mondays. Today was pretty exceptional. I had to try to sign in as I was leaving Ardmore and remembered that this phone wasn’t
hooked up to my state signing thing so I had to sign and a half hour late. I got my request for absent rejected because I didn’t write an excuse down.  Next I had to return a rental car to a rental

location at the Sheraton at 17th and race. The garage was well hidden but fortunately the Google
maps guided me safely. That was quite the relief. I then came back

and as I was coming back I found out that one of Lynne‘s friends at Ardmore house died. She wanted to meet a post for an adorable cat that
needs a home. That’s what I did. I went back to work. Work was really busy I really had to jam on it big time.  later on I talked to Pat and see if he would except a cat

in the household because I had a feeling they were going to find anybody for

this cat. Well they didn’t and I was asked if I could have the cat and I excepted
I was a little nervous about it because I’m not used to being responsible for an animal by myself. I haven’t had a pet on my own for the last 10 years. Lynne brought

the cat from the SPCA and got litter and litter box and some food. His name is Danny boy. He’s a

tabby a gray tabby. He’s very affectionate but I let him wanting around

the house etc. I found myself very very exhausted by all the activity and change going on. Pat brought over a sandwich for me and it’s really
tasty. I chow down like a happy old clown. Because I didn’t really eat much lunch except for some yogurt I was really hungry. I felt a lot better but I was ready to sleep early and I did actually fall through and went to bed before midnight which is pretty good for me. I also set my phone to prep me to go to bed and the shut down the phone and shit.
