Rain, Colds, and Other Thoughts

Well, yesterday Dec 1st I drove in to a blessed typhoon. The rain was coming down in sheets and continued  till the late morning. Then the cold come on strong (like my cold) and is hanging around for awhile I suppose. Check out how hard the rain was falling.

My piece of Cake at work

I got to work safe and worked pretty hard. I then stayed at my friends house ate and just crashed. Man, I was beat. I then went to work and plugged away. We got a new person in our unit while another one was abuptly sent to a new unit. I was the shortest time period for swapping folks I have ever seen in my almost 20 years with the state. At our staff meeting, the office celebrated the birthday's of all the folks born in November. This of course included myself. The cake was very nice and I got a piece with my name on it which was pretty cool

After work, I went to the monthly Zoning board meeting. Most was pretty routine, except some of us were locked outside for 10 minutes before the meeting. A site plan was passed for a metal recycling center where the old Kane Steel was in the Millville NJ Industrial Park. We had the min number for a quorum but it went smoothly. The next meeting is January 6th at 7:30pm.
The Millville Merchants Assoc. meeting will be December 13 and just maybe I will attend if I leave work early. I wonder if the whole Doug Ranier issue will become a political Waterloo for the Feeholder minions. The y being Dinkins, Jennerone and Whelan.  There are calls for them to resign. I frankly think that ain't gonna happen.
I just watched old Videos of the RRCA back in 2007 and 2008. Boy that seems like a lifetime ago but its only been less then 3 years ago.
Here is a video I forgot about. Its from July 5th 2008. Do you recognize anyone from this place and time?
Well, got to get some shut eye. Its gonna be Friday and pay day in 10 min, so I got to sleep this cold off.
