Monday, December 25: Christmas @ Sellersville πŸŽ„

Today we got up at the Dorchester. We  exchanged gifts 🎁 and ate breakfast. After we eat breakfast, we got ourselves ready to head out to Sellersville near Lansdale exit of the Turnpike. Getting the car from under the garage was not nearlyas hard as getting it there because the guy knew what he was doing. There’s three levels to the parking garage at the Dorchester and there are a lot of nice looking expensive cars parked there as well. Once we got the car, we zoomed out to the Schuylkill to 476 and the turnpike. Mary had a transponder so that should save some money. We got a bar in pretty good time in about a half hour. We visited her mom at her assisted-living place which is very nice. We had a nice lunch. That was cheap as mom got it free because it was Christmas and our meal was only 16 bucks each. Which is a really good deal for what we got. It’s 1:39 PM. We’re getting ready to head back to her place and then possibly visit friends of hers for dessert and then we’ll have a late late dinner because we’re both pretty stuffed from lunch this time. We decided that we would go to Bethlehem instead and visit hotel Bethlehem, which is really festive place. My friend TC took me there years ago and I wanted to show Mary this. It was only 38 minutes away from Sellersvilleso we drove up 309 straight up to Allentown then we diverted off to Bethlehem. We really enjoyed that place. It was really cool. I wrote to TC that we were there and he thought it was pretty cool. We then went to Mary’s alma mater Muhlenberg College. That’s located now in town so we went to Allentown and check that place out . It was interesting to see it. I never been there. She was pretty pleased to actually see her alma mater for the first time in years. After we roam around there for a bit

it was starting to get dark so we headed back down to Philly. We stopped in West Philly and we were invited to go somewhere but not till 630 so we had an hour to kill so I gave my grand West philly tour or at least part of it visiting 49th St.  Showing both places I live with the Nadine showing the old dog park and Mary showed me where she
lived on Farragut Street so in

1991 Mary lived on Farragut Street right around the corner from where I lived at 4623 Spruce.  That was really interesting. We stopped @ CVS. We got some food went to the restroom and  then headed to
West philly

to meet her friend Eileen and her husband. Eileen wrote a book called mother and the manager. Which is about codependency. It’s now says 8:00 PM.

to head back to her place in Dorchester and have some we met a nice couple that Mary knows.  They are very nice. We had a nice conversation at delicious pumpkin pie

with ready whip. It was quite pleasing I must say better than I thought I’m it might be. So it’s been a very busy day and a very good day. I just found out
the Eagles πŸ¦… beat the Giants 33 to 25 just now. That sounds like a real nailbiter of a game for sure. The game just ended and it ended at the Eagles three

game losing streak. That and Dallas is lost to Miami yesterday the Eagles have sole possession of first place in the NFC East. anyhow, it’s now the week between Christmas and

New Year’s coming right up. Already before we had our delicious hot stuffed peppers, we saw like a misty fog go over these buildings which was really cool. Mary has four of them left. They are so good.
