Saturday, December 4. Visiting Stuart Mike & Mary

I had trouble sleeping but I got up and was shot up about an hour late which was fine because

I was somewhat unprepared. Pick me up and it was a nice day and Wes drove a rental car and we drove down to Silver Spring
. Helen  and Stuart Steve, Kevin and Peter all there. Mrs. Moore

came by as well. We talked about the old days and other other things. It’s not 2:31 PM and Stuart’s taking a nap. Everyone just left Wes and I may visit Michael or we may stay over or we may just go straight

home. It was really nice to see everybody Stewart’s mother looks well and

it’s really good to see Stuart and all the old gang. We drove in Steve

and Kevin‘s test so they bought a month ago. What a trippy car that is. The acceleration and the smooth ride are quite
unbelievable there’s no shifting and it has a cool feel to it. I’ve never

rode in one of those cars so I videotaped it because I had to feel it to believe it after that we decided we’d visit Mike and Mary because it’s on her way back

to Philly. So we stopped over and they’re both home which was cool. We hung out for a while and they offered us dinner but Wes was saying we were just head back so it’s

now 5:36 PM I’m gonna head back I guess by 6:30 PM or so. It’s 6:28 PM we’re taking a pitstop for gas and then we’re going to hit I-695 to I-95 North. When

Wes and I got  back, He looked at some Facebook pictures and then I showed them the photo album that I dug out from 1975. Are used to keep photo albums. One of them has chip Littlewood, Wes, Steve and Peter Sissson, and Wes. It’s funny to look at those pictures. Wes agreed to be one of my witnesses for the pension signing ceremony which is going to be Wednesday at 11:30. I’m hoping my pension materials are show up tomorrow so I don’t have to start beginning to sweat getting him. I got home I was really tired. Lynne called and we talked in and then I took the glorious trip to bed and it was a good thing

Sunday, March 10: Watching My Neice Play Indoor Soccer and Unplanned Trip to NYC

had breakfast at 9 o’clock and my brother made some very
delicious breakfast sandwiches with bagels. There were very good. I

also had two bowls of my cereal that I bought. We then went to an indoor soccer facility about 15 minutes from my brothers place in Towson. We didn’t watch my niece play indoor

soccer. Her game is officially starting 11:00 AM. Well unfortunately your team lost 4 to 1. They were very close to scoring many times but couldn’t quite get the ball

n the net except for once on the complete breakaway. It was fun to  watch though. I never seen indoor soccer live since I saw the Philadelphia fever way back in the 70s.

nyhow, we came back home and snacks and relax. I ended up taking a nap for about an hour because I’ve  just been feeling tired a lot the last several days. They watched a weird TV series

nd then there was hockey for a moment with go to the New York rangers were 2-0  to the New Jersey Devils. Next on the TV the Orioles were
losing to the Yankees five to nothing in the major
-league exhibition baseball. Mike then politely escorted me to his car and we drove to the bus station. I was in plenty of time to catch the 425
Greyhound bus. We were marked to how the station is nicer than the one in

hiladelphia. Only problem with this is not in downtown Baltimore it’s off the beaten trail.

ell, saw that there was a 330 bus it was showing up an hour

ate. I showed my eTicket and they said they had five opening so I went on  the bus thinking it was stopping in Philadelphia on the way to New York. Imagine my

hock when I picked out the window and saw a sign for Trenton. I realize that
I was on the New Jersey Turnpike heading to New York City. Well there went my plans to go to Saxbys by 7:00 PM. I talked to a couple friends and texted a few others end I arrived at the Port

Authority Bus Terminal. It’s quite lovely place you should

ee it sometime… Not! Well after I got there I asked the customer service to help me

where the Greyhound ticket office was located. I want to the ticket office and told them exactly what happened. The guy kind of

smirked at me but he did agree to give me a free ticket back. They charge 24 bucks to get at the station but when online it’s $10 less. The best
they could do for me is it 10 PM departure

ut of the port Authority bus terminal. I saw that there was an 830 bus planning to leave. I request to be
put on standby. They did and I was able to get on the bus that
left a half hour late at 9 PM. That was quite a relief. I was able to sleep and try to get rested up on the way back. This was a nonstop back to Philly. I arrived in Philly took the L and arrived home at 10:45 PM joyed some food but I didn’t have an even drink and I was just exhausted so I went straight to bed.

Saturday, October 20: A Day in Towson

Well after a really comfortable sleep in the nice furnished

basement, I woke up had some French toast and coffee this was quite delightful. After breakfast we are headed down to recreational

occer fields to watch Anna and her team play against the

red team. Her team didn’t have 3 of their most prolific scorers.

So that was a notable lack of offense from her team. Ended up being a five nothing gained. Anna

layed a very good defense. After the game we went back to Mike’s Place. Mary Mike and I just

chilled out and I started playing around on OkCupid and Tinder. For the first time in God knows when I got a response on tinder. So I’m actuallygoing to call her and try to plan a get together tomorrow. She lives in Royersford which is in Macgomery County. I think it’s kind of close to Pottstown

aybe not as far as that but we’ll see. This one is a lot more realistic than the woman with the Walker that’s for sure. After we chilled out we went to this

lock party that the student radio station of Towson University.

re used to be called Towson State when I first heard of it when I went to Webster back in 1981.
