It appears that 2011 will be the year of Public Employees being the newest scapegoat for the economic mess we find ourselves in. The media with a push from Conservatives in government are going to be blamed for state deficits.

I am keeping an eye out!!

Corporations are reaping record profits yet are not hiring and hording cash. Meanwhile public employees are being treated like they are the "welfare Queens" for having benefits that  are steady. Not so long ago there was a social contract. If you work hard at the same employer, you were to be rewarded with a pension. Now the last holdout with pensions is the next target of our corporate overloads and their conservative supporters. Our state contract is up in July. We may see this action as the new Republican Gov Tom Corbett takes office. Lets see how our union SEIU Local 668 deals with this. Check out the articles below out and let me know what you think.
