A Little Road Trip in Cumberland County

We spent the last day of the Labor Day Weekend with our 2 dogs June and Jesus. It was another perfect day outside and we did some walking. First we visited a very old church in

Cumberland County, New Jersey in ;Fairfield Twp. The cemetery was very,
very old with tombstones dating back to the 1700's. Its a very well-taken care of cemetery. Iit is the site of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church.  Its the Old Stone Church that was erected in 1780 It was neat to be so close to history. We saw lots of tombstones with the name of Lawrence. I suppose those folks founded Lawrence Township New Jersey.
Next we went on a nature trail that is part

of the protected bay coast of Southern New Jersey. We ran into some folks we know who were going to ride back to Seabreeze, where we were yesterday. I took a video that shows some where we hiked

The dogs had a great time walking and running about. Jesus our younger dog was just so excited about seeing someplace new
