Today I woke up felt alright. I took Emily for a cold weather stroll & took a packed trolley from 63rd and Malvern to 19th St. After the meeting, went to the coffee

shop for conversation to chill. I then caught the trolley and was notified by the operator that
the trolleys were running really spastic this morning. I  texted a friend who is looking for work and trying to keep their apartment. I hope she gets a job soon.

up in the beginning but I just slog thrilling got a lot of alerts done that were undiscovered. Now it's 515 and I am waiting for the 46 bus
Overbrook at 5:38
which is already about 5 minutes late.
Well I'm  now on the. 46 bus going up to walk Emily out in Overbrook to get that out-of-the-way. Wes contacted me we might do Ethiopian. But his wife has the car and you know how it is to be a married man,
So I'll visit Pat,  I just don't know when right now. My guess is that I walk Emily and then just head straight back to his place. Emily shouldn't take that long. Sent a text to Larry ask him if he knew anything
about the weather forecast? I got a reply that precipitation would begin as snow at Midnight then change over to all rain by the morning.
Emily the Cute Dog.
So my friends I will be going to work on time it will be wet. Nothing unusual there.Well I'm going meet Wes for dinner he's going to pick me up at 7:30. We plan to do some Ethiopian. It is now 6:30 PM.
Well Wes came over and we drove down to Abyssinia Ethiopian.

We ordered a whole mess of platters combos and the food was tasty. Service was very good and we had good conversation. At the end of our dinner a woman asked us about an interaction I had with the waitress
Menu. Yum!
. This interaction was nonverbal. We wanted more water so I made a hand gesture that indicated lifting and pouring a picture of water
Groovy Bar
. I learned a new phrase microaggression. I wrote more about it here on another blog posting I made in response to the actions I faced and to this website the Microgresssions Project
Anyway Wes and I had a fund time.
Right when I got home I want on Facebook and a woman wrote a really anti-somatic cartoon with big noses like the Nazis Facebook quickly removed it and removed her
Now to bed and see what weather we face tomorrow. Ice? Snow, or just rain.

February 3 2014: A Snow A-coming

Greetings storm chasers and coffee drinkers
I got a text from Mark at 6:15 AM telling me this info. He said there IS A 3 hour delay. I don't get it since it is completely raining and we are just getting our FIRST wet snowflakes. I do know this. We are to get 4 to 8 inches of snow by the end of the day. Well, I would think when that's the case an early dismissal  would be more likely instead of  a late opening! THERE WAS NOTHING ON THE WEBSITE!
Oh I am pleased, but a bit confused....I'm walking down at Lancaster Avenue the snow has
just started the time 6:37 AM. I want Emily the Overbrook dog this morning. She's very kind to me and peed right away so I didn't have to walk forever!  As it was, my right

sneaker, it's soaked but I have a pair of sneakers that  that I brought with me:)
While I was hanging out at the coffee shop, I got a text stating that we were closed for
the day! I was so pleasantly surprised. So I hung out at the La Colombe and then went home hung out with Dean and another fellow
from the program and eat some lunch. I then decided to take a nice two hour nap. I was invited to meet a friend at her door to work that but I got caught up cleaning the

mess at my place. I had to take the trash and the recycling  out and I needed to sweep and scrub underneath the kitchen table.  I think

it was soot from the heater vent combined with dirt my roommates and I caused.
It is now 4:45 PM I am on the 40 bus at 23rd and Chestnut. I will be getting off at 10th and Spruce
and meeting my friend.
Hope you had him and then we hung out a cozy work out a snack. We were fortunate to be able to catch a cab and split the fare.
St. Joseph University
I went to a Monday night beginners and proceeded to leave my backpack in the basement. I hope to get it back since it has change of shoes and socks.

Groundhog Day 2014

Today I got back from Baltimore and then went to the bar none. It was very packed. After the bar none, I ran into Drew and we talked about getting together next week for dinner. Couldn't hang out with Drew I promised I would meet Larry at for the Chinese new year celebration being held today. I was lucky ton find a legitimate parking spot about a block and a half of of 9th Street near Arch.

It was a fascinating experience that I had never been to before in all my years living in Philadelphia. They performed a blessing of each store

percussion as well. I  took as many's pictures and videos as I could to highlight the experience.

Afterwords Larry and I went to Starbucks to get coffee and then went back to his house

$100 and shore up my schedule for the next four days walking Emily of Overbrook! I then took the car to 15th and pine to

the ZipCar lot. Inside parked there, I decided to be creative because I felt like it. I took pictures of the car lights hitting a
wall and recorded songs off the radio as I was flashing lights. The two songs were hearts "street on for you" and Black Sabbath "crazy train".
I sent one to a

friend and she said she saw a face. And it reminded me of a Beatles song called "I've just seen a face". I  walked to 15th St. caught the EL to 2nd and Market to Larry's. Larry had a nice spread
of pizza and snacks. We ordered wings and enjoy each other's company but the game was a blowout. Seattle made a mockery of Denver

45–8. I believe it was a third biggest blowout in Super Bowl history and the quarterback for Seattle was the third youngest Super Bowl winner in history.
Enough of that, I just arrived

Feb 1st: From Center City to Baltimore

Broad Street Line
It's a sunny morning today.
Woke up tired and aching. I was having a bad attitude but hang out with my friends and  I feel much better.
Picking up my Zip-Car
I came home from the meeting and then I  shared some takeout from this new kabob place across the street from Kabobbish.

I was going to rent from Herrz but they only had cars at the airport and it was going to cost over $100! Couldn't afford that because in addition to the hundred dollars they would hold an additional

daily rate and when the total came to $200 I then went back the 15th in Pine and found a car with a decent rate. I had a really smooth trip down I-95 towards  Baltimore.
Playing Card Game
On the way to Gwynne's party I stopped over to see a friend and said hello and then 20 minutes later I was a quince house. We played a card game I've never heard of which took up a lot of time and it was pretty fun. Met some more
