Sunday, April 27: Visiting Mom and Yoga

As we approach the end of April it is the last Sunday in April. This morning I woke up at the door. Chester quickly got dressed and

called Uber. They said it was four minutes till somebody showed up and it was actually a minute so I skipped breakfast and caught the Uber. The

driver was really cool. He was originally from Pakistan worked for Quaker city Cab ran a gas station and now
semi retired. Really nice guy.I then got home

and noticed that all my deliveries made it on time. I got my New Balance sneakers arrived. My Mag Light showed up and other things. I then caught the 110 bus out to Riddle Village. Got there

around 10:30 after stopping at the Wawa. I visited mom she was half asleep watching TV but she was in good spirits. We took a walk to the nice sunny room And talked for

a while. I showed her pictures of Amsterdam where I was a year ago. It was a pleasant visit. It’s now 11:20 PM. I’m going to catch the bus. It’s pretty cool outside.

I wish I had brought a jacket, but I don’t have time to go home then go ahead and catch the EL and make it on time to Yoga so oh well I’m like Gloria Gainor

I’ll survive it. Well, a year ago today. I was in Amsterdam for Kings Day. What a fantastic time that was. I’ll

always remember it. Well, the bus showed up late and stopped a bunch

of times and I made it to 69th St. terminal and caught the EL with about 2️⃣ minutes to spare. If I had missed that, I would’ve been late for the Hot Yoga at One. As

it is, I will get there around 12:52 PM which is really cutting it close especially for a special class cause I usually don’t go to yoga on Sundays. I did get to yoga and really plenty of time and

it was really good having that Super Bowl Yoga, because while one person

was instructing other people or other instructors were giving tips and and assistance

on poses, which was really beneficial. Also, the room was much more

comfortable today than yesterday it was Night and day more comfortable.

It’s about as comfortable of a setting as I’ve been in in the last couple

of weeks. Afterwards we hung out and that was fun. We talked to a couple people

afterwards. Mary and I went for a smoothie then went back to her place.

I trimmed my sneakers. Mary got me a paper clip for my zipper that broke off

that was cool. It’s a beautiful sunny day. It warmed up quite a bit from

this morning when it was actually pretty chilly and windy. But low

humidity. It’s now 4:46 PM I just walked to the open street. I am heading back to

Melbourne. Pat and I are gonna get something to eat later on I might eat something

a little bit now just because I really haven’t eaten much of anything today

a cranberry muffin and a smoothie. Well, we went to the compilation. It was quite

delicious food. We each had vegetarian
platter. Fortunately, there was not very crowded so we were able to get in and out quickly. We went back to my place and chow down. It was very good. we got

some good conversation and after that Pat left and I put it around the house put up some pictures. Enjoyed that very much.

Friday, February 14: Eagles Parade and Yoga

Well, today was the big huge gigantic eagle Super Bowl champion parade. It was scheduled at 11 o’clock to start at the stadiums. Other
 than

that, it was a regular workday where I got up to go to Mike’s by around 8:30 to go to work. As far as the agency knows today was just a regular workday

fortunately, Mike lives on Lombard Street near Broad so it’s gonna be very easy to get to the parade. There was no breakfast available so I was gonna go out

to the men Montreal bagel spread place, but it was too crowded with people getting ready for the parade at 8:20 in the morning so I didn’t know what I was gonna do. I was gonna

do the coffee shop so I got the Mike’s very grouchy and kind of bitchy. He then told me about a place Called
the breakfast den that was located

at 15th and South, which is a block away from Mike’s maybe a block and a half from Mike’s that is. Before I went there I made sure to scrub the toilet because

Mary was gonna be coming over to meet us that had to be done. That was really gross, but I Got a big brush that Mike had and didn’t did what I had to do. I then went
to the breakfast Dan holy crap that place was crowded, but they had exactly what I wanted. I got a breakfast bagel with with some vegetables
and bacon sausage and I don’t know what was in it, but it was so good even at home fries in the box. I only had to wait a half hour which is a miracle considering

every eating place was jammed packed and it was real good food. Mary then came over around 10:45 AM and we headed out to the parade which is a half a block away. It was fortunately

sunny and not too windy. It was cold however definitely had the

bundle up. We got Mike a good spot and then Mary and I went up a little closer in waiting
 for the parade

and the trucks to come by for about it an hour and a half but we had a good time. People

were chanting and there were planes doing advertisements for Jeopardy TV show and good morning America and

channel 6. When the trucks came by with the players, everybody gave them huge applause

and everybody’s chanting EAGLES and had a good time. It was fairly mellow on our section. It wasn’t

so packed that you were pressed against each other. Well, the truck came by and and we decided

we go back to Mike’s and watch the rest of it on YouTube and we found the live feed. The speeches were good and short except for the mayor Cherelle Parker, who just spoke way too damn long

and everybody wanted her to go of course the comments were nasty because the Incel army was doing their duty.Anyhow, we talked to Mike and hung out and it was very enjoyable overall they’re around 4 o’clock.🕓

it was time for us to get going two or 5:30 PM yoga class. We wanted to go back to Mary’s and get

some quiet time between the exciting parade and a 75 minute hot yoga class. Miah was teaching

and we were looking forward to that. We got there and it wasn’t that crowded. It

wasn’t empty, but it wasn’t full either. The room temperature was about perfect. It

was hot, but it wasn’t too hot and I felt pretty good today. Afterwards, I had the whole upstairs shower by myself except with Mills who asked me what I did in Florida and I told him
about our future trip to go to kaitlyn Ingersoll’s studio in Newberry Florida. After he left, I had the whole shower room to myself, which was glorious. Anyhow, afterwards, we hung out at the studio with Miah, fish Emma,

and we just talked about different things and Mia demonstrated her standing bow pose, which was absolutely perfect.
She says she worked really hard on it and it showed. It’s very pleasant cool

atmosphere so then we got back and we decided that we were have the chili that
Mary bought at the store. She was warmed up some rice and while we’re doing that we got the laundry started to clean some yoga clothes we had around 9 o’clock.

I just went to the store and got some corn chips and a couple iced teas. Well, the chili took longer than we thought and why we were waiting for that to heat up. We

watched some highlights of the speeches from the Eagles Super Bowl victory

parade. That was fun. The chili was very filling and a bit salty, but it was

pretty tasty. 🤤 By the time he came, we were pretty tired. It was a very good
and
eventful day. Eagles parade followed
by a really good 530 yoga class and chilling out at the studio. Very pleasant and enjoyable for myself and Mary. Tomorrow we plan to sleep in and relax before going to 4 o’clock class. The video of this should be pretty long. I’m gonna try to edit best I can. It was an historic day.
