Tuesday, November 11: COLD!🥶 Lunch w/ Wes & Helen
L This morning, I got up at the old Dorchester and looked at the temperature when I got up and it was 32° outside. Temperature went down about 25° since yesterday. Anyhow, I got up had cereal
and put my layers on plus my winter coat. When I went outside, I realized I had done the right thing and getting enough layers on. I’m wearing my Mandalorian sweatshirt which I really like. In fact, I
have a picture of my choir director and I both wearing the same shirt, one time at choir practice. Anyhow, it’s 1057. I just finished Rehab. This is my second last appointment for McGee.
My next appointment is Thursday. Today I’m meeting Wes and Helen at a place called middle child on 11th St. at 1 PM. Last time I ate with Helen and her daughter Catherine we went to the local pizza place on
South Street. This time Wes will be joining us. Should be nice. The blowback from the eight Democrats that voted to open the government with no promises of healthcare from the ACA are getting skewered on the internet, and I
say GOOD!!!! well, it’s now 12:40 PM when is really kicked up so it feels actually colder than it did this morning. We decided he wanted to eat at El Vavez on 13th St. instead of middle child because he’s in
the mood for soup. He’s running late for some reason. I am walking down Lombard to 13th and then up at 13th. Well, we had lunch at our vet and I think that was probably a good choice because we had a nice table. Good
service and yummy Mexican food for a very cold and windy day here in November. We did some catching up and enjoyed ourselves a lot. We noticed that most of the nearby museums are closed such as
the art museum and the barn were all closed today being a Tuesday. I guess it’s now 3:05 PM but I’m just gonna get back to Mike’s just to get ready to leave. It’s now 3:51 PM. I’m just arriving at the studio
for Tina’s 75 minute class. Well, my class was very good. I was enjoy Tina‘s classes. She’s a very good instructor. My standing pose where you lift your leg up is really been a difficult more difficult lately. Other
than that, the back Bend was cool and other stuff was good as well. Anyhow, we hung out saw Emma and then we headed out to Mary’s in the in the gusty breeze of today. Dropped off my yoga clothes
and put my choir full grin. Now practicing and resurrection church since apparently the William Way, Center is going to be closing permanently perhaps. I’ll have to do some research on that.
Anyhow, it’s 6:55 PM. I have choir practice in about five minutes supposed to be at 17th and Sampson, which is Resurrection Church anyway
probably gonna be fashionably late but hopefully not I bought some iced tea and Mary’s thinking of buying Indian food over at the Curry Leaf since the food has improved. Anyhow, it’s 708 and we’re being delayed cause we’re on a new spot and we had to figure out how to get in since the door kept locking
after people came in. Just thinking one year I’m eligible for free SEPTA ride in that weird? Weather rehearsal went pretty well in the new building. Too bad we’re not going to stay there. We’re gonna go
back to William Way next week. I then walked back in the cold and Mary had ordered something from curry leaf for me China masala. They’ve obviously have a new cook because the food is a lot better
tasting. Mary and I watched Law and order. It was about this place for severely autistic kids. It was very intense, especially the end when the place is closed down and the mom goes. Do you want to take care of my kid. It was rough.
