Saturday, July 25: breakfast, planning and Yoga

Good day everybody today was a good day to sleep in and then that’s exactly what I did today. It felt really good to get that extra sleep then I’ve been craving. It was a very efficient and REM filled sleep, which is always a good sign. Mary and I left the Dorchester and went to the café and had breakfast and hung out. I looked up the cost to get to this Mexican city and the price dropped by about $200 so we figured we’d snap up the tickets quickly. We first had to do some research and she’s going to be calling American Airlines. Actually they’re gonna call her back after an hour wait. We then got back to the Dorchester after the delicious breakfast and got Pat to give me my passport number and headed off to Miah at 4 o’clock Class. I’m gonna see if I can do half moon without being corrected. That appropriate perception stuff you know what I’m saying.? Anyway, it’s now 3:49 PM. Well, I went to Miah‘s class and it was 10 to buy about 10 of us. It was a good group. Miah was hands-on and helping me with a couple of the poses and that was appreciated. After class confirmed our attendance at the posture clinic with photographs. She’s gonna have a field day with me with that because my proprioception on my poses is not quite up to speed yet after all this time. Anyhow, it was a good class we came back and we called American Airlines and paid up for the Yoga retreat in Mexico next February 13th–20th. They gave us a half decent rate and we confirmed everything over the phone and got our seating. That took a little bit of doing that. We then called for Indian and watched highlights of 75 World Series and we’re gonna eat.

Friday, July 3: 🥵Hot!🥵 Brunch w/Mary. Yoga!

Happy heat wave Everybody including the Bros who walked up, practically ran me over trying to walk by me on the left side of the patient because that’s the side that’s shaded. Anyway, Mary and I got up early. She had an appointment and I decided that I wouldn’t go back to sleep so I can sleep better tonight. That’s because Mary and I  gotta get up at 5 o’clock in the morning and pick up Alice at the airport and drive straight to the shore a.k.a. Long Beach Island. Anyhow, I decided to go to the café and just sit and eat and play with social media, etc. That’s exactly what I did. I had a breakfast burrito. Had a nice coffee and just Nurse that sing along and that was really good. Mary met me after her appointment. We just sat and chilled out and discussed matters so serious and  unserious. We left the café and melt it out at Mary’s for a little bit. Next thing you know it 3:15 PM came along and both of us got ready for class. Mary thought about going to class but after she got there, she thought better of it. She did get to talk to Kaitlyn about her situation knowing that Kaitlyn could relate. I got ready for Class. She talked to Kaitlyn for a while. I got prepped for Class. It was really nice to come extra early so I didn’t have to rush around. It’s nice to be back in the studio. I spent the first part of class getting my sea legs back. I did struggle, but not terribly, which was a relief. I was breathing heavier, and I was pacing myself. It was really good that I drank something right before class. That always helps! Anyhow, 75 minute class which was a good thing in this case since it was 99° when I got the class and it’s still 99° as of 6 PM. That’s what you call HOT!!🥵 Well, I’m gonna go pick up the stuff that got delivered by Amazon, which includes super coffee, which will be really nice to have when I’m up at 5:15 AM in the morning.. I’ll tell you that café air-conditioning was suffering and barely keeping me cool but the Dorchester‘s AC unit wow that is world class! I came back to Mary’s and lied down for a couple hours and took a nap. That was pretty glorious cause I was whiplash after that class I felt pretty good considering, but it was really good. Knapp then Mary did finished off her laundry and then I put on a couple last stickers on my thermos and got rid of E 84 sticker it has been forcibly removed and purged the ghost of E 84 from April – May 2025 are gone in the trash where it belongs. We ordered Indian and I’m picking it up now as of 947. It’s dropped down to 84. I think we’re just about to get some thunderstorms.

Tuesday, June 2: Mike’s, Laundry, Blood Test, & Yoga

Good day everybody it is Tuesday. I got up after going to bed at half decent hour for the second time in a row, which is pretty good. I got Mary up and then dashed off to Mike’s house. When I got to Mike’s did a little bit, but then I spaced out and did nothing for the first hour and a half. I then realized there was laundry to do LabCorp to do and time was a waste. Mike of course wanted pizza. He found five dollars somewhere so he got the pizza special in it gave me a piece. It is a beautiful sunny day out here. It’s a good day to walk all the way from 15th and Lombard to eighth and Chestnut where the LabCorp is. This blood test was ordered by Dr. Stillman because the other blood test showed low blood red blood cells and they wanted to double triple check that I didn’t have a weird rare condition. Hopefully I won’t have one like I did with my parsonage Turner last year. This one would be a lot more serious if it were serious, but he doesn’t think anything will come, but he wants to double check. When I was doing Mike’s laundry for the first time in a long, long time somebody using up the both washers. Fortunately, they were pretty quick about getting it out then when I washed Mike’s clothes, the Spin cycle didn’t spin so I had to remove too heavy things from it so the other stuff could dry. Mike was OK with that. By the way, the pizza was pretty good. I’m  at the lab courts 214. They close at 2:30. My guess is that they locked the door and let the remaining people do their test. Well, I walked back because the buses were not running when I was around. I walked by Mo priorities which is on 12th and Chestnut I believe maybe 13th in Chestnut I don’t know. Anyway, that place was open in 1984 when I was canvassing in a bunch of us, went out to eat canvassing that brings back. Pretty good memories, though I never wanna go canvassing ever again. I was young and it was fun. Anyhow, I picked up Mike’s laundry and it was very moist because the spin cycle didn’t spin as I said before. I just signed up for 4 PM with Tina heading there now it’s 3:39 PM. Well, we went to Tina‘s 4 PM class. It was a really cool class. She got the class to all saying the same rhythm. In fact she was promoting that throughout the class. She also straightened me out in one of my poses. She noticed in Shabana that nobody moved for a long time. She’s really good at getting a class consciousness. After that we went next-door to 222 Rittenhouse Square and found our order of three loaves of Dave’s killer bread. They had delivered it to the wrong complex. We’re now heading to a meeting. The meeting was pretty good. We then went to Royal Indian and it was mysteriously just closed with all the lights out so we went down to curry leaf and got both chicken dishes and then watched a couple episodes of Law and order.
