Saturday, November 8: A Visit to Asbury Park.

Hi. Today we’re going on a trip to Asbury Park and Ocean Grove. There are two places in New Jersey. Mary spent three summers there working

and living there back when she was in college. He had a really good experience there. He tells me Asbury Park was a lot different back in the day were room for $14 a week at a grooming house.

Hell, $14 doesn’t even get your breakfast these days. Lol anyhow, we got up and had breakfast at the café. We noticed that they were handing out

food for people receiving snap who weren’t getting on snap benefits because the trumpet administration bullshit with this government shut down. They’re

using poor people as ponds. They are so a moral it’s not even a joke. They’re a joke, but that’s not a joke. Anyway we enjoyed our breakfast

at the café and then had the Uber pick us up so we can go to 30th St. and pick up the rental. The rental was already since I have a gold membership and everything ready and told me where to pick up the car.

There was no line at all at the rental place, which is really cool. We tried to make the Apple CarPlay

work on the damn car, which is a Nissan versa. The CarPlay wouldn’t play at all. We tried and fiddle and

said a well screw it we just made it without the CarPlay. It’s funny how some cars it works really well and

easy and other cars. It’s ridiculous. Anyhow, the weather really cooperated on the ride up. It was sunny and mild. We arrived there and checked in at the hotel, we didn’t need keys. We did notice, however,

that they were selling swag like sweatshirts and T-shirts and hoodies which they did hadn’t before. We Reason that sincethey’re charging $660 a night in

the summertime, they should at least sell some swag. Not including all the taxes and stuff that you get charged for staying at a hotel. Our day was half that because it’s November

instead of August. Well, we were on the third floor. We met the owner of the building because we bought some swag. She came upstairs and I

bought a T-shirt and Mary bought a sweatshirt for the price of a T-shirt, which was nice. We then ventured forth and went to Toni’s‘s and had each a

cannoli, which was very light and tasty. I’m not a sweet guy, but they were very good. Then we bought a second one it split it. After that, we had the sugar energy in the

motivation to take a walk up the boardwalk of ocean Grove and Asbury parkq. We walked all the way up towards seventh Street. And we found the

place that Mary had stayed in back in the day. It’s it’s now a social club and it’s very posh. It looked very, very upscale and stuff. We then went to we went to the Danny clinch gallery. He takes pictures of

various rock and rollers from Led Zeppelin to Bob Dylan. Of course he has lots of Bruce Springsteen being he’s a New Jersey based photographer. He has a lot of good pictures of all kinds of people. The lady who

works there is very nice. He allowed me to charge my phone because I had allowed my phone to dry up with all the videos I took. I swear my videos are gonna be like a 12 minute video on YouTube one

day when I get this blog posting done. Anyway, we ended up buying swag. I got a we got a T-shirt and we’re very very nice. That’s a great experience. Let me we’re walking. We ran into this couple trying to pay

a parking meter that didn’t work and we told them they need to go to the Danny clinch gallery. It’s a closest 8 o’clock. When I said that I thought it was like 7:15 PM but it was only 5:15 PM. It was pitch dark already.

We then went to the wonder bar and I got another Tilly T-shirt to add to my collection. I had a lot more, but I think I gave one or two for Christmas last year. So I needed another one. We then went saw the

Stone pony and took pictures there. Then we got some pictures of the sunset and Took pictures of where the carousel used to be. I found out that videos do not allow for dark photos. Dark scenes

like taking photos does. Taking a photograph allows more light than just doing a video. That’s how this camera works. Anyhow we came back and boy we were tired. We just crashed for about 45 minutes.

After we relaxed and soothe our feet and shoulders we went over to Tino‘s again and split it delicious pizza. There’s a 12 inch pizza but it was a good pizza. The one guy was really nice and didn’t even charge us for

our drinks. We decided we wanted some Arnold Palmer so we mix their lemonade and unsweetened iced tea and it was a perfect mix. Mary thought of that one she’s a chemist

in that way. A food chemist, ha ha ha ha! Anyhow, we then went back to the room and ended up watching Skyfall of James Bond movie that we just had to run into as we were flipping through hundreds

of channels. We watched it on BBC America. It’s a fine channel but oh my God they have more commercials than any other channel we’ve ever experienced. It was like a commercials per break. It was

somewhat irritating. I would never pay for BBC America because they got so many goddamn commercials. We enjoyed the movie Marriott had

seen It several times and she helped me through it because we watched watched it not from the very beginning but she caught me right up after that. We relaxed

and crashed after a nice full day at Asbury Park New Jersey.
