Tuesday in Mid April 2009

Its Tuesday and another City Commission meeting is going on tonite. Its the last meeting before the May 12th elections. There are 15 folks running. Its a vote for moving forward or going stagnant in the past. There are school board elections happening today. Please vote for Bill Herman, Connie Johnson and Mike Weldon. They are all experienced and from my service on the board the past year they deserve to be elected.
This is my pup Jesus he is driving in our Honda Element, a very nice car.
Anyway spring is here

William Herman was forced to leave the Millville Police Department because he ran background checks on employees of his daughter's business. Is this the role model that should be presented to the youth (let alone the taxpayers) of Millville?

Politics aside, a clean record is a minimum for this office. That he was not charged as a quid pro quo of leaving does not keep a record clean, imo.

Is this the same Mike Weldon that was caught up in a prostitution sting a few years back and claimed that he was secretly working under cover? If so, why would he be on the school board or be allowed to run for the board?

More sprawl, so that we can have more schools and more taxes to pay for them and the additional roads and utilites. Who needs those farms and woods and streams? That's for the treet huggers

Bill Herman is very capable at his job.

Unlike the time he spent as chief, he is not in a position to abuse his power. If he ever thinks about slipping, there's an entire board, a solicitor, district administration and the teacher's union to answer to. Being kept in check is good for Herman.

Also, he really does seem to want the best for the kids.

It's disappointing that everyone piles on Whilden for his prostitution arrest. It has nothing to do with the position of school board member, a position he served well for many, many years.

Who needs farms, when you can have Wheaton Village II, III, and IV ( ask Dee Dee and Joanna about the granite cunter tops, and the soil erosion and polluted run off from unrestrained growth of housing developments). Besides we need more roads and police and police pensions, right?

Well, was she good looking? If the prostitute was better looking than Monika Lewinsky, I think we should let this one go.

Interesting how people have lowered their standards. And if Weldon were to get elected and something was alleged to take place while in his position on the school board, the very people that are defending him would be up in arms over him serving with his past history. Smoke another joint and everything will be o.k.

Let it go if she was good looking, speaking of standards. Don't want to set the wrong example for the kids. Speaking of Monica Lewinsky, anyone see the National Enquirer lately? Bill tagged that at a good time.
