Monday, February 2: Millbourne to Philly. Yoga

Greetings ladies and gents of the Internet circa 2026. I got up around 7:40 AM but of course it took me a while to get going so I ate my breakfastput my tax forms aside and headed off to Mike’s place on Lombard Street. SEPTA market Frankfurt line was running 10 minutes late because of “employee unavailability.“ I love
that one where they don’t have enough employees and for me get sick to train they skip a train. Anyway, I guess they don’t do on call there. Anyhow, it was pretty damn cold maybe not as cold but it’s still 18° outside, which is cold enough for me. I went to Mike’s. He was distracted as usual, couldn’t get his Social Security thing up in the next thing you know it summary from the agency showed up to just verify that he’s still homeafter the hospital and then he did this interview thing for some money on the Internet. Anyhow, I went to CVS to get my scripts and also pick up some BS for Mike. It’s good to have you legs. Anyhow, we tried to log into real light D for Social Security and it didn’t work on this phone so I’m gonna try that again tomorrowMike is three people visiting tomorrow. They don’t us the time but they’re coming. A Nurse, Social, and physical therapist, three anonymous people we don’t know, but they will not tell us the time cause that’s not part of their policy. well, Mary and I went to byron‘s 4 o’clock class wasn’t that full at all. And it wasn’t terribly hot. Either my right wrist is acting up. I think it’s from using it to hold up my arms in the air. So I have to stop doing that. There’s a good class. We saw Linda there. Evan was manning the Front Desk. I saw Mary Sue going to the 530 class I forgot to ask her if she got any contact from the choir so I’m gonna have to do that. I’m heading to the 6:45 PM MONDAY Night Beginners I’m bringing my water with me. We have our samosas we’re back to normal so that that’s a good thing. Now how I went to the MONDAY Night Beginners meeting the topic was what was your first “addiction” before alcohol and drugs.? That was interesting. That was for sure. I’m now heading back to the Dorchester. We’re going to have samosas and

that’ll be good. I’m a little bit tired, but I feel OK. I feel a little gassy and I’m just look forward to relaxing for the rest of the day. I took some odd pictures tonight. Also, there’s a chance to display my photograph
or photographs in this recovery arts event that’s supposed to happen in May but the stuff is due by February 28. I’m gonna check that out.

Saturday January 31: 🥶 Breakfast @ Café

Hi there, everybody in the winter wonderland and frozen tundra that is Philadelphia right now. We decided to sleep in late and that was very glorious so glorious that it’s hard to describing in human terms. Anyhow, sleeping in was good as I just said. We decided we go out to eat at the heart of catering café. I had my usual breakfast burrito and that was very delicious and we hung out and tried to charge my new charging box but the thing never charged up so after breakfast, we decided to go to the place where I bought it, which was a block and a half away, and the guy was really cool. He took my return without even replaced it withanother model he thinks would work better. So I’m going to charge this thing while Mary and I are Yoga and if this thing doesn’t charge up then you

know we got problems. I’ll just I’ll just go to Amazon. Anyway, it’s  3:22 PM already and the days half over and we’re getting ready for a 4 o’clock class. Well, I went to the 4 o’clock class and was taughtby a different instructor. Evelyn Archie. She came to the Costa Rica trip two years ago and was next to me all in all of Chris flux classes. Well, this class was very interesting. Every 30 people in the class and 24 more new students I hadn’t seen any of them except for a few. It was also a very strange class. She showed up late and played music. A little too loud. I did like the bell ringing that was quietly going on while people were getting ready. Also, people didn’t lineup normally cause they didn’t know the routine. Overall, it was a good class, but it was definitely had a different vibe from Miah. That’s for damn sure. Anyhow Mary reminded me that we were going to see filament that’s a broke group that Evan is in and we decided in the last minute to catch an Uber from Ocean prime and they came quicker than we thought but we were able to grab a little snack to hold us over. It was very good. We didn’t see Linda or Dave there and we didn’t see someone else there but we saw a couple of other people from Class.

Wednesday, January 28: Frigid🥶 Mike Out of Hospital. Yoga& Yin

Good day everybody. As usual the hospital did not release Mike at 9:30 AM like he tried to get them to do. So I slept in a little bit and had breakfast with Mary and we talked. The Dorchester washaving an a fire alarm test fortunately both of us got out before the really loud alarm was tested. I called Mike and his latest date for the ambulance

to pick them up with 12 o’clock noon by the way right now it’s 1224. I’ve not heard from him so they’re just gonna take their sweet time. Anyway, after breakfast, Mary went to see the sports massage Gentlemenand I walked to Mike’s to chill out and have some super coffee and finish off yesterday’s blog posting. It is really frigid out. It’s only a morecold starting Friday and Saturday there it’s going to be in a single digits overnight. Today is traditionally when Maryann and I have done yoga
and Yin. We blew off yen last time so I don’t know what we’re gonna do but I think I want to do both but we’ll see. Should be eventful Mike getting back from the hospital. Well, it would be eventful Michael coming out of the hospital but take this. It’s 1:51 PM and they still have not let them out of the hospital yet. The ambulance
doesn’t want to show up. It’s such a joke. I just reminded on threads that it was January 28, 1986 when the Challenger explosion that’s 40 years ago I was working for New Jersey PIRG making a presentation in front of some college students when somebody when the professorin the class did you all see what happened with the Challenger explosion. Never forget that moment. anyhow, Mike did eventually get home around 2:58 PM. He was helped up by the ambulance guys tracking him through the snow. They even had this device crawled up the steps so the guys didn’t have to lift Mike up. They’re only  2️⃣ of them there and they did a nice job. Mike was settled in and he postponed the two appointments that were coming up, which was good because he just got home and the weather is too shitty anyway to have Mike tracing around. Anyway, Mike settled in and we made some phone calls canceled a couple appointments but one we couldn’t cancel for some reason but he’s not going to
be able to go. I then left Mike’s and headed to Mary’s for us to go to the 75 minute class with Dan. that room was very warm. I couldn’t believe how warm is room got in. The temperature is being in the teens. Period I have got a compliment of one of my poses by some other student and Dan complimented everybody
who come to Mexico.🇲🇽 there were five of us in class and that was cool. I think the concentration we had to do without the mirror helped us all. Anyhow, after Dan’s class was Hanalei‘s Yin class. My God I haven’t been to a Yin class in a long time and it showed. I was so stiff and I felt so mercifully old wasn’t even funny. Obviously, I couldn’t drink my left arm over my head very well that that’s a given, but it was a humbling, but it wasn’t a bad class actually. We then walked in the 8° weather in had some nice bowls, which are very good. We watched some law and order and got warm, which felt great.
