Tuesday December 5: Groggy yet Rested

Well after another night on the floor I got up and actually had trouble 
 etting out of bed believe it or not. If that means the cardboard box from IKEA that is. Well I got to 
 ork and I was pretty groggy and a little bit out of it. I got to work and
 attempted the plot along and get shit done anyway. I knew today was the 
 ay for appointments. I got a couple more over payments written up and
 then I had a couple interviews. Basely only for five people showed up out
 of the ones I scheduled. I wasn’t sure I schedule it a lot because of the holiday etc.
 I did get into a confrontation with my supervisor. She was saying that I need AMR for
 this case so I just wrote one up. Well I did manage to open up some medical applications
 that were due and worked on a couple of alerts now I’m back up to like 60 
 gain because I haven’t really worked on them in a long time. Well
 I went home and on the way home I called my sponsor

who offered to meet me at six tell put the bed on correctly. I’m hoping he can make it. He didn’t make it. I took a quick nap before hand which is needed
. He put on that sofa the right way found all the holes really quickly and we were done in 15 minutes! That was an extremely great relief. I was for a believed I was able to sit on the couch put a pillow up and I fell asleep. I was with hungry and tired but the tired one I got up and walked to my appointment about 15 minutes late. Thank God I live close enough to walk. The appointment went pretty well and then I came back home and use the money that I borrowed off my workmate to get some basic food in my fridge. I then got my bed ready and crashed

Monday, December 4: back to work and IKEA BED

Well I set my alarm for a little after eight. I think that might be setting a little 
 it too late cause I’m gonna be about 10 minutes late if the else on time.. Google maps says it’s an eight minute walk to the platform so I want to see if I can beat the eight minutes. It’s 8:53 AM right now and hoping I catch the 
 estbound before it leaves. Well I know now to cross the street at 13th because going to the other side isn’t just a matter
 of crossing over. I was pretty late but my supervisor wasn’t in so that helped. I slide through
 the alerts until I got five errors because I didn’t write up my overpayment stress enough. It’s obvious that supervisor and give us the alerts on time so I have to do a better job of setting alerts. For myself of when
 to do the stem over payments. So I wrote up 25 of them and skip the alerts and skipped writing up at sanction just to get it off my back. then met Larry at the Starbucks at 16th and market and then Natlie came 
 y and then we all met Veronica and what’s the light show at City Hall. It was pretty good Larry and Veronica thank him back to my place to help build the 
 ofa. After a lot of work we figured it out and put it together and then find out that we built it backwards.  I call IKEA customer service fell asleep while
 waiting for an answer and called him again. The customer service lady was empathetic but could do little else. She then set me this video https://youtu.be/vz5HcDF6p04

I talked her for 20 minutes after being on hold for 15 and The customer service woman told me they had complaints about it but the best they could do was tell me to flip it over. Of course the best video they can find is this.  The guy talks in broken English and build it really fast. Well here’s another one where the guy again built it on fast speed video. Sunday, December 3: Aiming High and Frustration

Well I woke up very very tired and couldn’t get myself to the morning
 a meeting that I like to go to. So I eased up and went to the Saxbys and had coffee and asked Pat to drive me to the IKEA. I decided
 I’d go to a gallery opening at the 
 Plastic Club on Camac Street. A friend had told me about it. I then decided after 
 ooking at the work to make an application for membership. They 
 ave 10 days to see if anybody objects and then they’re going to asked
 me for my work. This will be a real test of my artistic worthiness I believe. Originally the time for him
 to come
 over @ 3:30 PM after he worked.  We got there around 515 and we saw the super moon. That was quite impressive then after we did that, my phone died. Next
, we went to the IKEA and I had a little bit of difficulty
 finding where the futon sofa was located. I did find it and ask for help. I got a little frustrated and Pat 
 alled me out on it. I Soum calm down and we got the thing to the front and I paid for it barely but I got a 25% off coupon as I was waiting in line
. That was very nice of them. We did manage to fit a
 n the back of his car. His car was just big enough to fit the thing in. This save me at least $30 in car rental fees and probably more in online delivery fees as wellThat’s all my place liked it and
 then he needed to go home and eat and get some rest cause he had worked all day. After that I decided I’d go to the meeting so Pat drop me off at 20th St. I was the need an emergency to open up the door to the place and make the coffee and start setting up the chairs like I used to do. Afterwords I walked home and talked on the phone and proceeded to open up the package while talking to Amy an
d decided to call Larry’s friend about the modem. It was a bit mind blowing in fact it was very mind blowing. Yup and I ordered the last
modem and I’m getting it next day shipping and he found a cheaper price under 100 bucks 
 t’s the same one as Comcast recommended and he offered to help on Saturday if the tech guy has problem with the machine so he allowed
 me to order my machine and I’m getting my own machine I’m having 
 t delivered next day so I know I’ll have it ready for the Comcast dude. I’m too goddamn hungry and mind blowing to make my bed my brains fried that it was a real chore
 going into the Comcast site and then Amazon site was acting funny and then Bill finally figured it out anyway I was so hungry I couldn’t
 figure out what I wanted to eat so I went Chinese and then they were all close so I had to IHOP and got some chicken Alfredo with bacon just probably got five gazillion calories but it was definitely feeling than Amazon sell my Purchased was denied but I know I had enough money in the account so I got to deal with that yes I’m still kind of a mess here but I just got to get some sleep onward and up word bye 

New Adventures in Cold

I got what I was looking for!

Its Saturday and the weather has mellowed out a bit from the snow and the blowing cold. Weds night I went to IKEA via SEPTA. The first leg was easy in that I just had to take the El to 15th Street to the Broad Street line to Oregon Ave. Next it was the rout 7 bus. I waited about 10 min but man it was cold at Broad and Oregon. I got to IKEA and after walking a bit found the item I was in the hunt for. I then went to the Rt 7 bus stop which was being the IKEA, near a Philadelphia Parking Authority impoundment lot and next to a UPS loading area.

Waiting 40 minutes in the cold!

Boy it was desolate and the wind was whipping. I waited and waited for 40 minutes and was getting very cold and it finally showed up. Needless to say I was pretty stiff and needed a long hot shower to get relief.

It was Standing Room Only on the 408!

The next day, Thursday, a small snow caused MAJOR traffic problems. The cold surfaces had cause the light snow to freeze after it had been melted by autos. Center City and Camden were at a stand still. The 5:15pm 408 bus arrived at 7;13pm and did not get to Millville till after 10pm. It was standing room only during the hour it took to get from Camden to the Booklawn Circle All the folks on the bus made the best of it and we got home safe. The driver said this was the worst delay he had seen and mind you this includes last winter with its 80 inches of snow. In fact, it was a year ago we got our first blizzard of last Winter.

By the way President Obama did sign the Tax-Cut compromise yesterday after it had easily passed Congress. The President was correct in that it would pass despite those who called it a cop-out So the rich get their goodies and some unemployed continue to get benefits. Taxes will not go up in January.
Well, its off to yoga class then helping with putting laminate flooring at Densie's house...BYE

Dreams Books, IKEA and Football

Started the day late since I slept till about 11. I had some strange dreams. One was having 2 jobs in which I did not sleep between them and my car was broken down. Next a dream about India having bloody street fighting and folks fleeing to China..
Sunday!Anyhow, walked the dogs and then talked to my brother about the current political situation and Dan Deardoff who is really bad at football announcing. Went to Bogarts and got some good bus ride reading material. Its a relaxing and mellow scene at that bookstore , the ONLY one in Cumberland County New Jersey!! Went to the Crowe's to help them with building IKEA furniture. We all KNOW how EASY that is. I was then fed well and then watched the last quarter and the overtime of the NFC Championship game. It was well-played game and the Vikings and Saints were evenly matched. The end of the game was very exciting with Brett Farve throwing a crucial interception at the end of regulation. In overtime the Saints almost dropped the ball several time but they won on a 40 year Field Goal. Can you believe the New Orleans Saints in the Super Bowl?? They are going to be big underdog against the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl in 2 weeks.Its going to be a rainy start of the week but like today its going to be mild.
A friend is going to be engaged as announced in Facebook and there will not be a job change coming up soon. We have no more cat in our studio. I guess I have to call up to see if I am working at the Philly Flower Show for the 12 year. It does not excite me like it did before. I guess since I am so far behind at work the thought of standing for 12 hours straight with hardly a break is not what it used to be. As Homer Simpson said " I will always be tired again!!
