Tuesday, December 2: Leaving Poway.

We woke up at 6:30 AM to do last-minute packing etc. Allison drove us to the airport through the rush-hour traffic. It was really nice of her to drive us to the airport and save us money and time from 


the Uber. It’s a mini splendid thing. Anyhow, we arrived at the airport and this terminal is pretty packed. We’re supposed to be start

boarding at 8:50 AM. Anyhow, it’s now 9:46 AM. I have my 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi so I’m better just take up space on this block. We boarded it 

went smoothly. I had a Hardee’s meat lovers burrito and a Pepsi for my caffeine. It was cool and sunny in California we’re gonna come back to cold rain 

in Philly. Yay. Anyhow, our plane flight was smooth. We arrived in Philly, a half hour early at around 5:10 PM. We’ve decided to do the Uber instead of the train since it’s kind of looks like it’s been 

raining so we did that. I called. I checked with choir practice and at the William Way tonight. I thought maybe it was at the Resurrection church haven’t heard from Mike if he’s out of the hospital. Well, Mike 
wrote back and he’s not in the Hot. He’s still in the hospital. As of 6:41 PM. So apparently I’m not going to get paid for most of tomorrow so I can sleep in which is only a good positive thing about that


other than that, I just don’t get paid as long as he’s in the hospital. I’m getting a quick snack and iced tea and then walk in the choir practice up at William Way center which will be closing at the end of this month. Will be acquire rehearsal tonight I was dressed



 in warm enough for the cold room. We went over a few songs. It’s starting to feel like the concert is coming soon. We ended 45 minutes early cause we’re doing solo tryouts. Found out the spring concert is going to be much earlier this coming spring in April so the end of April so I was very much relieved so I don’t have to worry about our plan trip to Alaska, which is, going from June 9 through the 28th going to San Diego on either end. 

Monday, December 1: Last Day in Poway

After staying up till about 2 AM last night, Maryann, I didn’t get up until about 12:08 PM this morning or shall I say this afternoon. 

Mary woke up with a bit of a migraine so we were very fortunate to Alice ordered some bagels for herself and Mary for them to eat and got some more cereal for myself cause I just ran out. We also got

Poppy drinks as well. That was very nice of Alice. Alice Mary and I talked in the kitchen for a little while she was on break from work and


we got to talk about all different topics. Mary went up to rest since she reminded me that way I need to check in and when I checked, and I saw the flight was at 9:30 AM. That’s earlier than I remember so we’re going to have to get up early & take a Uber down to the airport. I thought maybe we had time to get up a little later but alas, we don’t. I looked at some threads and finished up yesterday‘s blog posting. 

Google Photos reminded me that today was moving in date to Pat‘s on this day in 2018. Yep, December 1, 2018 is when I moved to Millbourne at Pat’s house so that’s been seven years ago. It’s now 3:30 PM the 

sun’s already starting to set because we’re in the middle Of late fall. It is December believe it or not. Well, it’s at 4:25 PM. Alice took a break from work and we talked for a little bit. Alice ordered some 

meds for Mary that will help her stomach in times of need. Alice offered to drive us down to the airport at 8 AM to get us there. Will pick up something at Starbucks on the way, which is really cool. Mary 

and I are going to take a short walk and then I’m gonna go take a shower so I don’t have to do it tomorrow morning. Mike told me he’s scheduled 


to get out of the hospital tomorrow. And some lady from Penn called. I tried calling her back but she didn’t answer. Maybe I’ll call Mike at the hospital and double check on things cause he’s not responding


to messages. Well, Maryann, I took a walk around the neighborhood of Poway and we ended up calling Mike to find out what’s going on. He’s still in the hospital and he should be released

In by tomorrow. He also talked to the social worker that attempted to call me this morning. I told him when I was getting back and we’re all in Saint Pete there. He just needs to call for continued services

such a physical therapy and nursing Mary I completed our walk. We caught a beautiful sunset in old Poway California. Also, it got pretty chilly outside. That’s for damn sure we came in and relaxed. Mary 

and I them started looking up flights to San Diego in Alaska, we would divide a trip and to sections first flying into San Diego staying with Alice and then taking a nonstop to Anchorage Alaska. 

Each trip is five 5 1/2 hours, but it’ll be broken up. We decide to pull the trigger and buy the tickets. I was a big commitment, but we had to take care of it because there’s only two tickets left on the Alaska Airlines flight. It was a big relief to do that. It’s all ranges the car rental and the lodging. Oh yeah, of course there’s the itinerary that comes later

on. We had a wonderful pasta dinner that I was prepared and then watched V for a vendetta. Alice fell asleep in the very beginning of it. She was

up early for Work so I can’t blame her for that for sure. 

Sunday, November 30: Yoga & Comedy Show in La Jolla

Well, hello there in Poway. I Mayor and I slept in and then we hung out with Alice and talked a bunch about a lot of stuff. Lexie, you know

So I had a lot of cereal. I accidentally poured vegetable broth in my cereal. Package as a soy milk, but I recovered most of cereal thank God. I then had plenty of coffee. Then then Mary else and I hung 

out in the front of her house in the sun. It was very cool and sunny outside. It was really nice. Actually feeling very lazy today. Mary and Ivan took a walk. Alice asked us if we wanted to go to yoga at 3 o’clock. We’re

Going togo to yoga and then go to La Jolla to a comedy show that he. That’s the plan. All we got ourselves ready for yoga and got the class just barely on time period.


It was a 60 minute core power glass. I think it was about 105° or more in the glass. It was a combination of Vinyasa Pilates and Hot Yoga. Do we didn’t do all the Hot Yoga 

poses but we did at least half of them. It was a 60 minute class and it was pretty cooling. Thank goodness we were right near the door so he opened up the door somewhat frequently to give us some air I was so out of shape oh my God I was the worst out of shape that I ever felt in years. But I’m glad I went overall. I was so lethargic my body was just kind of like feeling pretty lazy. It’s now 4:21 PM. I just finished


a shower. We then drove down to La Jolla to meet up with Hannah and Mimi for Indian dinner and then go to a comedy show. We got there and there was a 

misunderstanding of what time we were supposed to be there at 5:15 PM or 5:30 PM. Then the place was cold and the food was expensive. And it just got very weird after that. We eventually got the food 


and Hannah Alice marrying myself went to the comedy show in that place was like a fortress. They put her phones in little padded cover so we wouldn’t record and put on YouTube. Mary had leftovers 

and decided that they couldn’t bring in food then they gave us a two drink minimum for four people was 70 bucks. Anyhow, afterwards, we walked back to the car and headed back. A very strange evening,



 but when we got home, we got to talk and chill and relax, which was nice.
