Good day everybody. Today Mary and I woke up at the Fairview Motel and walked over to the bakery. I forgot the name of it but we weren’t there and it was very delicious. We got a stuffed oatmeal pastry and a thumbprint piece of pastry that Mary really wanted to get. Within waited for an Uber because it was too long of a walk. We really enjoyed that place. We then took the Uber to the plank café with all our bags and stuff and went to the Plane café. They ran out of tortillas so we couldn’t order the same thing that we got before. We went there and it was much less crowded than it was yesterday. After we chow down we quickly got going and walked to Joe and Shelley‘s place. We hung out there for a while. We saw Joe’s daughters who was pregnant and due in October. Anyhow, we hung out at Joe and Charles for a while and mellow it out. Then we called Uber and the Uber took 20 minutes to get a driver then the driver showed up 11 minutes later. Then there was a 15 minute ride to the airport. We got to the airport with 10 minutes left until they started boarding. The TSA was so slow there they didn’t have touchless and there was one couple that had like six bags and thank God they went through we would’ve been up a creek. We then got to TSA. I got picked for them to check out my shoes for any chemicals and Mary got her bag picked because of the Pepto-Bismol, which was very weird, but it was a weird place this little Santa Rosa airport. Then we go on the tarmac and it’s hard to tell where to go so we found out we have to. Mary’s bag had to be left somewhere and we’re supposed to ask them where where to pick it up when we arrive in Phoenix. Very kinky little Plane couldn’t even fit my bag in the overhead so I stuffed my bag underneath unfortunately it passed. It’s an hour and a half flight on this little dinky airplane. We do have about three hour layover so we should be OK in that department. Oh, this, Rinky didn’t airplane has no working charger. It’s there, but it doesn’t work. My phone will die during this flight to Phoenix. We have three hours in Phoenix though. well, we arrived in Phoenix and we had to wait for Mary’s luggage and they are outside is really hot there in Phoenix. Anyway, we grabbed a bite to eat overpriced burritos and salsa and chips. We did eventually found a place to charge our phones because both our phones were dying. We got about a half hour till the plane boards so that’s what we’re gonna do. We’re gonna sit here and get ready for planes to board. I forgot to mention that 3️⃣ out of our 4️⃣ rides with Uber, we were driven by the same exact guy. It was quite phenomenal that way. We’re sitting here in Phoenix. Everything’s closed here for food in this airport as of 9 o’clock. Well, it’s 9:11 PM and we just found out that our flights delayed because they can’t land the airplane due to the dust storm that’s ripping through Phoenix right now more fun in the airport with this rinky-dink airport hooray. well, we got an announcement that due to the dust storms. The one Plane that was supposed to come here went straight to Vegas. They then told us to move from B6 a 22 they started to board the airline at 10:05 PM and we’re about to board now. We have an AI machine now telling people when the board they couldn’t get a human to do it unfortunately. Well, they were going through the first couple groups real fast and now they seem to have gone to a ground hall probably because people have trouble putting their luggage above their heads. I don’t know it’s 10:14 PM now.
Good day everyone out there. Mary and I got up around 6:20 AM. Quickly got dressed and did last-minute packing and eating. I did have forget the iced tea. We caught an Uber and Mary talked to the Uber driver for a while. She has a son in the military in England and she moved from DC and comment on Kensington. Another matters. We went to the airport and used touchless screening and they just took our picture and it worked very well and we priest through the airport. It was probably the fastest I ever got through TSA. It’s now 8:00 AM and we see terminal C 24. Well, we just entered the world of airline cluster fuck just now. First, they changed our terminal from terminal C to terminal B 10. Then we go there and the flight just got delayed 6️⃣ hours going to Phoenix, which is our connecting flight to Santa Rosa. Now I’m in line at the Customer Service service desk gonna try to got a new flight. We might have to stay overnight at the airport. Well, Owen behold Maryann I thought let’s check San Francisco out and we checked it and we were able to get a flight that originally left at 11:30 AM this morning but it’s been delayed to 1:30 PM fortunately the layover was long enough that we should make our connecting flight which boards at 5:17 PM because the plane supposed to arrive at Los Angeles by 4:12 PM we just made a reservation from the bus from San Francisco to Santa Rosa so this should be an interesting trip but at least we get out of Philadelphia on the same day so that was a modern miracle. the guy at the counter was very competent and that was helpful. Well, now it’s 1239 and supposedly this flight‘s gonna start boarding at 11 minutes. Mary managed to get our sweet change so we could sit next to each other on the flight and if we want the same thing from LA to San Francisco we have to ask the counter lady as well. So far it’s still leaving still departing at 1:30 PM, which would give us an hour to get to our connecting flight. It’s a 3:41 PM. We literally just landed on the tarmac at LAX a.k.a. Los Angeles International Airport. We are at gate 41 terminal four and we have to go to gate 151 which is supposedly a 10 minute walk but we get something to eat at this airport. We’ll have to see how long it takes for people to get off the damn plane. Went to P.F. Chang’s and had some dinner and we thought about going to Starbucks, but the line was so ridiculously long. Found out there was another Starbucks with no line after I got on the plane. This Plane is the young person‘s groovy Plane no babies no old farts just a lot of young people between the age of 20 to 35 years old. Display is also looks like it’s pretty old kind of scratched up, looking in a little bit dirty but as long as we make it safe, I’m gonna read a book and listen to doors. We had to sit separately, but we’re not that far apart. Took a long time for them to lift off from the airport. It’s gonna be a very big challenge to get off the plane and run and catch the bus at 8 o’clock if we missed at 8 o’clock bus, we don’t get on till 9:30 PM on the bus that bus a two hour ride from San Francisco. Looks like a nice day outside. We’re gonna be getting ready to land soon. They said it’s now 7:18 PM lots of mountains to look at from below. Well, we got to San Francisco and hustled to catch the bus Jason County airport in the meantime, we ended up breaking the handle on Mary’s suitcase cause I was hustling and if you get bumped a little bit handle, oh well. The bus ride went smoothly, but the brakes are really bright when you would stop. The bus driver is very nice. well, we got to Healdsburg. I mean Santa Rosa airport and Joe picked us up which is very nice. We were both extremely exhausted went to the Fairview Inn, which is right around the corner for a homeless shelter so I now know why certain people were concerned. But it’s very nice Hotel it’s very basic.
