It was a nervous night but Quinn, Shannon and Derella were the top vote-getters in yesterday's election. Tim Shannon will be our new mayor. Congratulations Tim on a well-run campaign. Lets hear it from the man himself:
"I think the big dog is barking." "I feel vindicated that the people of Millville came out and voted for the 'three Js.' We've taken so much grief from a small group of people in this town that has so much backward thinking. And we will think forward, and we will move the city forward in these tough economic times."
Well its back in the audience for the Millville First. I am sure Tim will make a great Mayor. Congratulation got to Dale Finch who was the only non-incumbent to win. Dave Vanaman won dispite his problems with the police union. He was rewarded for his independence from the Millville First.
