Tuesday, April 8: Market Crash! Cold 🥶

Oh, I got up this morning and stepped outside and it was 35° outside fortunate. It wasn’t windy this morning. I got the Mike’s fairly on time. I then had 

some grapes yogurt and some super Coffee. Anyhow, I went to the CVS and 
got my script as well as Mike’s script. I 

went to the Apple Store and discovered that they don’t make the dongle 

for the old Apple phone adapter anymore. They stopped making them

 in September. So I do have a couple at home if I lose those, I just have to order 

through Amazon or buy this long ugly dongle for $30 which is not going to happen. The guy at Apple 

is very nice about it. I also met a guy still had an apple 11. That was fun. I had that

 was stolen from me from me from the markets Frankfurt subway 

back in March 2020 when Covid was starting to rage. Anyhow, it’s

 2:47 PM and the wind is picked up and it feels cold as hell out here.

It’s a nice stiff 20 to 25 mile an hour wind going on now as I head back to 

Mike’s. I got back to Mike’s and he reminded me had an appointment

 with a private doctor at 3:30 PM so I have to make sure I step out by 3:30 otherwise

 the doctor will refuse treatment. So that’s what I’ll do. I just wanted to 

make sure I had enough cold drinks in the fridge. well, I made it to the 4 o’clock 

class with Lupe Lauren who took over from Chris this week. It 

was a very smooth class and she moved the class along pretty fast. The room 

wasn’t terribly hot today compared to other days that I experienced

 last week. Then again we’re in the 40s today so that probably had something to do 

with it. The stock market continued to slide under the weight of Trump stupid Tariffs. Anyhow, 

we got back to Mary’s and she is cooking up some veggie burgers, but her oven didn’t preheat fast

 enough so I had to split and catch the 12 bus. I’m glad I thought of it. Mary has been suggesting

 I take buses for a while now, and I never think of doing it. The cold weather 

convinced me to try to take the bus and I did catch the bus & it took me to 13th locust and

 I just walk up the block. Anyhow, rehearsal went well we’re doing “considering 

Matthew Shepherd.” It’s hell 9:34 PM. Rehearsal
 just ended and I’m walking out here in 37° weather with a 10 mile 

an hour breeze. The only public transit would be walking an extra block north to catch a bus on Walnut, but I’m just gonna walk the whole way in. It’s gonna be pretty cold for the next week. I’d say. 

Tuesday, March 25: Last Day of Work. Packing

This morning I got up at the at the old Dorchester and Mary and I had breakfast but we also called frontier airlines because they didn’t
have us 

having carry-on luggage on our ticket and I thought I bought the combo 

package but I really didn’t buy the combo package so we had to buy it by calling Frontier. I also called 

Social Security have them call me back and get my phone didn’t pick up. Mayor 

made a nice breakfast bacon eggs and toast and I was tasty. I got to work late, but I’m 

going to sign out late so it’s not gonna matter too much. I want to Mike’s 

did a little sweeping and a little cleaning and Mike canceled his doctors appointment 

which made today a lot easier actually.I must say I took it fairly easy today. 

And then signed out at 4:17 PM and walk to 15th St. instead of taking the Broad Street line because it’s

 very pretty outside. I’m gonna go back to Millbourne So I can pack for our trip

 that I’m going to tomorrow starting with a 5:20 AM flight. What is 5:52 PM right now. I ggot a couple minutes to wait for the next train to come I showered, shaved

 and packed. I’m coming back with a dress shirt cause I figured I have

 one dress shirt for the whole trip. I have plenty of room in my backpack for 

different thingsor I need to do is on the way to Mary’s is probably 

get some travel toothpaste. That’s one thing I do need and get some tease from

 the little store so that’s what I’ll do. Well, it’s 6:23 PM. I’m just strolling

 through right now Square and I don’t have time to go to CVS. I do have time to go 



to the store. I have to turn around and go to choir so I don’t have a lot

 of time. Well, I got the Marys on and then realized I forgot to bring one of 

my heavier flannel shirts with me. Tomorrow morning to be 

very cold in the 40s so I’m gonna layer up. Meanwhile, the rehearsal went pretty

 well. I was about five minutes late cause it takes at least 20 minutes

 to get there for some reason. It was a nice night for a walk. That’s for sure. The 

rehearsal ended around 8:20 PM and now I’m going to walk back to Rittenhouse

 Square and we’re gonna get some bite to eat at this new Indian place we like 

because Royal Indian is closed on Tuesdays. Well, we ordered



 some food from the new Indian place that we like on 20th and Chestnut. Holy shit 

that food was nice and spicy and filled us up real good. We decided

 to watch an order episode and that was pretty good. We then went to sleep 

around11:45 AM for a three hour sleep/nap until we have to get up at 2:30 AM to be picked up by Uber at 3:30 AM. We’re on our way to Jacksonville, Florida and then we’re going to get the rental car and go to Saint Augustine and then check in our hotel at 4 PM in Jacksonville FLA
