Monday October 13: Vaccines w/Mike. Drizzle & Yoga

I woke up after having the most sound and drowsy sleep. I’ve had in weeks. I had a really weird dream about my family, which I kind of forgot about which was very strange. And then Chuck Dawn

out from Melbourne and caught the train and got to Mike’s around 9 AM. I realized that we have a vaccine appointment at 10 AM but we didn’t have time to just walk down there cause Mike had to get

dressed so we took the lift out to CVS. The app was saying this this location is too close.“ But we took it and she had to drive like around the block and go to blocks out of her way to turn around. It was kind

of goofy, but we got there in time. Mike first got his shots. They didn’t have them on record, but thank

God to see if CVS was not busy in the people very nice to us so we both got our flu and Covid shots. Mike has to come back get his tetanus shot cause it

wasn’t available or something. We also picked up a shit ton of scripts for Mike. After we got back, we both had lunch and then Tony came over and emphasize to. Mike had a lift up without hurting his shoulder.

He may be back this week, but he’s not sure because he has to get re-authorized every time he gets to the hospital which he was in I believe last week. Anyhow, it’s been cloudy but not much rain has fallen, which

is a real big break I’ve thought for sure during due to the north east we’d be drenched with pouring rain, but thank God we haven’t and that’s a good

thing about 3:30 PM. I gotta get my ass moving towards Yoga. Well, I did go to Byron‘s 4 o’clock class. I felt pretty strong in the beginning. The room was much more humid than Saturday, but it wasn’t

a “dry heat“ like Saturday morning’s class was. As a class went on, I got dizzy at one point, and also my arm started getting tired and halfway through

the class. I couldn’t reach out quite as much as I did before. But it’s almost done. I was pretty tired and I’m glad I wasn’t gonna be doing a double. Mary felt the same way.

Thursday, June 19: Results. PT, Yoga ,HEAT! 🥵

Well, this morning I woke up after a really decent night of sleep. I was frankly very pleased with the sleep I had. Today I got the Mike’s and did the usual

stuff. Went to the Fabio’s and got him a towel replacement since I threw out the other tile due to the grossness of it. I then Did his laundry
just

before I left because I’m not gonna be at Mike’s tomorrow. Anyhow, I’m at the PT at 2 o’clock and that
was pretty intense. She added 4️⃣ more exercises

for me to do and basically stated that I’ll be doing this routine of exercise

for Ever or for at least she didn’t even give a time that’s how long

it’s going to be. She used the words ultramarathon to put it in perspective, so it looks like this is gonna be my life now Rehab. So she also told me not to

use my arms at all, not even holding them out during awkward pose. So no reaching hands up at all I’m gonna put my hands on my hips instead of reaching up. I’m

also thinking with Mary‘s idea to writer a letter to someone who’s a nurse Kaitlyn

possibly for her kind of advice. I don’t know really. It’s really humid, but

my overriding thought is my shoulder so even if the studio is boiling hot. I’m not going to

be killing myself literally out there cause I can’t afford to now. and yeah,

I went to class and the teacher today. It was pretty hot when I was near where the laundry is and that was helpful. I did the no arm thing
and it worked out OK. We talked to Evan for a little bit and that was cool. he’s

hoping to get more classes. Anyway, we went back to Mary’s and Jim cooked up some veggie burgers,

which were tasty. We started thinking about plants for the September wedding of her niece. That’s going to
be a very complex and expensive thing
to work on because we’re also planning to visit Alice at the same time in San Diego. Anyway, also, I am going to New York tomorrow

morning so I wanted to make sure I got that planned out.

Thursday, June 12: Work and PT

This morning I woke up after sleeping a decent sleep. It was a good sleep, but not quite enough for my liking, but I can’t complain that much

considering what I’ve been through in the last month. I went to Mike’s and I wasn’t horribly late today, so that was a good thing. Did some sweeping cause the
young girl didn’t do any. Mike had

some complaints about the young girls attitude. At least
she showed up!

Anyway, we put on the table cover just now and I had lunch. It’s now 12:20 PM. I have my

second PT appointment at good Shepherd next Tuesday. I have another PT appointment at another location This one sponsored by Jefferson today’s appointments sponsored

by Penn. I don’t have two PT’s I was referred to a different physician. This is important because the PT’s going to write me an email explaining her observations and questions she has about

my right scapula whether I have nerve damage. Well, I went to CVS after the PT and that was closed so I had to wait about 20 minutes for them

to reopen at 2 o’clock. Got my Scripps into 1 L of soda for him. Went back did a little sweeping drank a super coffee and gave Mike my vacation scheduled

for late July and I went over his appointments and he doesn’t have that many fortunately he may have some to crop up but right now no ongoing appointments. I have
an appointment tomorrow. it’s 514. Mary’s probably just finishing the 4 o’clock class. She sent a nice photo of Evan and loopy smiling that’s really nice. I do miss the

studio, but I’m months away till I can do yoga again I reallydid

something really funky to my shoulders and scapula and some nerve. Well, I

went back to Mary’s place and took a nice crash nap which I really needed

. Then we went to get some Indian, which was really tasty. I went to the
bank so I could pay in cash and avoid this credit card fee. Mary sent a nice picture of a couple people from Yoga. They asked about me that was nice to hear. Also, we ran into one of Mary’s friends who was originally from Venezuela and her husband. It was a nice day out. I skipped the CODA meeting and decided just to hang out at home and relax neat. Watch some law and order with Mary.
