Sunday, June 22: Carnegie Hall Concert

We got up around 8:05 AM after the alarm went off at 7:30 AM. That hotel was very comfortable. I must say we then went to the Morning Star Café, which was a two minute walk

from the hotel. That was a great choice. It had really good
basic breakfast food
there. I had a stack of three pancakes

and a side of Away easy eggs. Also had coffee which was nice and smooth and easy on the stomach. after that, Mary and I took the subway instead of walking

to Carnegie hall from my rehearsal. This was because it started to rain. Mary

purchased a nice cheesy tourist umbrella and we got to Carnegie Hall

early for the dress rear so I got my dress rehearsal sign and proceeded to dress rehearsal. Mary went off to the MOMA the museum of modern art while I had to rehearsal. Rehearsal

was pretty straightforward. We just went through the whole piece once and then
ended. I then walked towards

Mo to meet Mary and get something to eat. There was a street fair on sixth Street 6th Avenue that I noticed. I don’t think I really have time to see all the moment.

Mary says that it’s probably the favorite museum she seen yet. It’s not cheap. It’s 40 bucks if you’re not a senior. It’s starting

to warm up. The sun isn’t blazing yet, but I didn’t want to go changing into my shorts just to hurry up and change again. It’s now 12:50 PM and Mary

is just about to exit the moment at this point. I’m pretty thirsty. I could use something
to drink. It’s hard to find someplace

with a cold diet Pepsi. That’s all I can say. Anyhow, we decided to take
a walk down 6th Avenue, the Avenue

of the Americas and there’s a street fair going on. It was nice as Street fairs go. We then went to find a coffee place and there was only one close by and ended

up being a food truck with Ralph Lauren‘s name on it with a teddy bear in the driver seat. It was very cute but now I could see why it was so hard to find because

it’s tucked in the Rockefeller Center. It’s now 1:27 PM. I got myself a 5️⃣  gdollar Pepsi, but it’s very hard to find diet Pepsi, so it does come at a premium now everything is a premium here.

It’s not as hot as it could because it’s still cloudy. Well, well, well we got back in

time for me to go to the dressing room and warm up a little bit

before the concert. Well, the concert went out really well. There was a nice

audience there. We sing the whole of Donna Nobe Pacha. The ending

was really cool after the song ended just went in silence for I’d say 15 seconds. It was

really touching into the peace. Mary said she enjoyed it pretty much

as we left. We were guided up to the Second of the last section of CarnegieHall. We are basically pushed into the next set of people performing. We sat there just

before it started we left because we had a 5 o’clock training. I did not

want to miss that stuff. Mayor and I then decided to walk a half hour down seventh

Avenue from 57 to 34th. It was a pretty scenic walk because we went right in the middle of town Time Square. We got some pretty decent pictures along the way.

Mary really enjoyed the modern museum of art will have to go back there and when we have more time.
We took a very smooth ass Acela train back. It was a little bit late, but it didn’t matter we relaxed! Anyhow, we got back to Philly and then we took the trolley to Mary’s place. We decided we

would have Indy because we’re still pretty hungry. We didn’t really have that much to eat for lunch hour. That was very relaxing. We really noticed that Philadelphia was a lot hotter than New York was. I mean

it was warm but it wasn’t super heated like Phil was. Those clowns we had in Manhattan really did help

us get by because we walked about 14,000 stepsif that means anything

to you and your five kids. It was a wonderful trip and it went very smoothly and I am always thankful for that.
