Please Remove This Dumpster

Note the Dates!!!
A local merchant spoke to me. The store is located near the large blue dumpster that has been sitting on High Street  for awhile. He stated he was losing business since it takes up parking spaces and folks have to walk around it. I went to the Fath Building and the city of Millville did charge $50.00 to have it parked on High Street for 30 days. They gave Thunderbolt General Contractor Corporation 30 Days to use this dumpster. This 30 days expired yesterday. Will they move it?? Will the City enforce its ordinance??  I think folks need to call city hall and the zoning officer so it will be gone in time for 3rd Friday and the merchants nearby can get more business.

UPDATE:
The city told me as well as Mr. Operman told me a new permit was obtained. We just have to wait for the dumpster. I have to remember..patience is a virture. I work for $$

The city told me they got a new permit. Next time you call someone an ahole, have the guts to put your name in.

Dear Mr. Krull,

If you will notice, all of my posts to you have been polite (since I am a guest on your page) and I stick to facts, rather than fly by the seat of my pants via emotion...like most people I've encountered associated with "public" projects. Your dumpster post puzzles me, because there is no requirement I actually post the permit anywhere. So it seems you jumped the gun, to shed yourself in poor light. I do appreciate the free advertising (link to my website), but by your own admission, you were wrong to post this.

As far as the dumpster affecting business, it is an unfortunate logistical fact that cannot be avoided.

What about the businesses that are completely displaced? And the WEEKS the street was blocked off/shut down/immobilized due to work at the Levoy? And then the catastrophe and weeks more? Then the spin control, and the finger pointing, and the planted stories? And then the silence? And the millions of taxpayers dollars held in limbo? If this is an issue about your compassion for the common man...I would think everyone is due equal time?

And you're worried about a legally permitted dumpster? What about the other 150 feet of parking spaces blocked off with concrete for no apparent reason? That fence could be moved back inside the sidewalk, couldn't it? The dumpster is 24 feet long. Go shag Levoy's butt about the other 150 feet.

After numerous invitations on my part to give you first hand knowledge...you simply wish to stay ill/miss/uninformed. Thats your God-given right.

My offer to speak with you should you be interested, still stands, but I won't post on your blog again. You seem determined in a particular direction. I offer facts. My regards.

Something that just came to mind...

If I had a friend (meaning someone who's personal welfare, common values, and continued success)who was important to me, and he was under the microscope of intense scrutiny, I would give that person a "heads-up" jingle on the phone.

So I appreciate the phone call to City Hall on your part to "throw me under the bus"...so to speak.

I believe you accused me (without actually naming me) of the very same behavior in an earlier blog.

And you certainly didn't treat me as a friend, or fellow community member, or local city business owner (who actually adds to city coffers, as opposed to Levoy taking same) who buys, spends, and employs locally.

I don't know how or why my company became the enemy to you. I'm just a businessman, with a client who suffered tremendous loss. I bet you'd have a different perspective if the building behind you collapsed in January...and you were still out of your home 4 months later while, lawyers justled and jockeyed memos about.

Shame, shame, shame on you Mark Krull.

Okay. I won't belabor you with any more of my posts on your blog.
