Survey of Downtown Millville

As the Daily Journal reports this morning, a survey shows there is not enough to do in downtown Millville. One of the things I found interesting is that the advertising has not been effective. My opinion is that not all voices and ideas are being heard. This seems to be true if one is not connected with the powers that be. I know of situations in which ideas have been swatted away like flies. Well, its time for that to stop if Millville is going to grow and welcome new people and ideas. I am pleased with the changes at the Oar house. The menu is upgraded, its open on Sunday and the service is improving. We can not just depend on the racetrack alone since most of the signs to get there lead AWAY from the Arts District.
Oh and what about the wayfinding (eg. signage) for the Arts District?? I am glad that JGSC Group said it cause some might have not listened. Lets take advantage of this and get to the next level
The consulting firm JGSC Group will unveil the results of its Millville survey in a presentation at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 12 S. High St. A state grant paid for this survey.

See you there!
