Center City Meeting Nov 13th

Last nite at Bethel AME Church, the Center City Neighborhood group held a meeting. Stephen Kehs, vice president of Vineland-based Triad Associates, moderated the meeting The study was the product of a $90,000 grant from the Wachovia Foundation. which has partnered with AHOME to conduct a study to improve center city. The $90,000 grant is paying Triad to publish the results of their study, which solicited the views, gripes, hopes and wishes of center city residents with the aim of developing a "plan of action," in February - complete with a grant application for $750,000 from the former bank.
Currently Bridgeton did receive the $750,000 which is being run by Tri-County. If anyone has info on how that is being run and what the $750,000 is paying for, please inform me on the comments section of this blog post.
There were ideas to improve the Center City neighborhood, I like the idea of having a community service requirement in the Millville Schools.
This is a great opporturnity for Center City Millville and we need to work together on this and do it smart

It was impossible to find a parking place so that we could attend the meeting. We were really looking forward to hearing ideas from concerned residents. Maybe they could find a larger meeting place so it accomodates everyone the next time they schedule a meeting?

I understand about the parking. There is parking up front. I went there first. We had plenty of space at the meeting. Can you think of another place? Thanks
