Friday, December 26: Cold 🥶 Mike’s, Phone, & Yoga

Good day everybody I woke up at 7:30 AM. It was good to sleep in, but I still showed up around 9 o’clock at Mike’s. I was however, able to get 

my yoga stuff organized and eat breakfast. Once I got to Mike’s, he had just woken up. Usually Mike gets up very early, but I guess staying up till 10:30 PM. Will do that for him. Anyhow, Mike 

canceled his 1:15 PM appointment today because he felt unsteady on his foot. He ordered a whole bunch of stuff on Amazon and I fetched it and he ordered lots of stuff. Over ordered the diet Pepsi. Anyway, 

his phone doesn’t work so I’m going to phone repair place on Chestnut Street to get his phone fixed. It’s now 12:09 PM. I’m walking up Walnut

Street, and there’s quite a few pedestrians on this side of the street. Well, I went to the phone repair place and they said they could do a diagnostic for 20 bucks so We’ll see if the phone is operable. They 

said it would be about 45 minutes to get the phone tested so I decided I’d get a slice of pizza while I’m out. Not sure when it’s supposed to snow but sometime later this afternoon. According 

to the Weather app on my phone, the snow is supposed to start around 6 PM. Well, they did diagnostic on the phone and the result is that Mike’s Phone broke doodle liquid/water damage. Period 

to fix it. It would be approximately $140. I’m gonna go back to Mike’s and let him decide on that it’s now 1:44 PM. I’m heading back. Well, headed back to Mike’s and when I arrived at Mike’s, he was talking to someone 

on these toward a Penn person on the tablet. They can call Mike but Mike can’t call them back but they were able to talk to Mike about his situation with no phone and being dizzy, etc. They were very 

thorough. Then Mike called the cell phone company that he goes with and order a new SIM card since the other one is probably damaged due 


to the water damage. I then warmed up from being out in the cold for an hour or two hours straight. It’s supposed to start snowing at 6 PM. I do plan

to go to the Yoga Mary’s gonna skip it because she’s got a massage at 9:30 tomorrow morning. Well, it’s now 3:30 PM time for me to sign

in for Yoga and sign out for Mike’s. As much as I could on this fine furry Friday. It’s very cold and I did warm up while I was here which was a damn good thing. this was a pretty

busy Friday I hope I can handle the class today. I’m a little concerned with my shoulder, but I’m gonna try to take it easy as much as I can, especially on the arm stuff.. well, I went to Tina‘s class and I was

very careful in the beginning and I got through it pretty well. My balance was actually a little bit better today. I think sometimes when I take time off once in a while, my balance actually gets better, 

which is very strange, but I’ll take it. I hung out with other people and chitchatting a bit and then I talked to Tina about year old days of 2019 and the 6 AM classes. It was fun. Then it was time to 

venture for outside and we’re getting shitty sleet. I went to CVS to pick up a prescription and Arnica for Mary. The problem is the Arnica I got wasn’t available. I got Arnica for arthritis and I had two 

2️⃣ active ingredients Arnica and something else and what I bought. Mary only had Arnica as an active ingredient so we’ll test it to see if it works just as well hopefully it will. It was seven bucks cheaper. It was $13 instead of $20. 

Wednesday, November 5: I am 64 Years Old

Happy 64th birthday to me hooray! Smiley face. Anyway, after not getting enough sleep I got up around 8:15 AM

and went to Mike’s. Did a little bit and then brought in some stuff that he had ordered. I needed to do laundry so I went to the check cashing place that I always go to and they did not have any quarters. It 

was hard to believe but they did not have any quarters at all, which is quite unbelievable. So I had to walk down to my bank and get a roll of quarters. They were very agreeable and didn’t even verify that I was a customer there. So by the time I did 


that it was 11 o’clock so I killed time at the coffee shop for a while and looked at election results which were very good 4 the Democrats. They won the governors of New Jersey and Virginia by nice double digit


margins and they won prop 50 in California. They also did really well in the assembly seats in Virginia and all three judges were retained that were Democrats. That was really good news. Of course the Maga 

are going completely apeshit. Well I eventually started Mike’s laundry. There’s a shit ton of laundry🧺 To be done and I put them in there and then the next step was to get Mike’s phone working again. 


I first had to go to my 2 PM appointment. I got that done and we talked about my father at a little bit and then after that I went to Mike’s and he called the wireless company. They 

activated his phone and I was able to remove the SIM card and put it right in and his phone works!! It’s a miracle I got it to work. Now his computer is acting up and not working but hopefully he’ll resolve 


that it’s now 4:42 PM. And I’m just walking down from the CVS where they don’t have my script prescribed for some reason so the doc has to call the pharmacy. I’m gonna go to Mary’s and take a nap and then we’re gonna 



go to Yin at 7 PM. Well, me taught a really good class. It was very enjoyable and I’m glad we did skip the class. I definitely needed that nap. We then ordered only one water venue leftovers from last night to watch two episodes of the Law and order got our 

ourselves ready for once a year 6:30 AM with Leo. So we’re gonna go to a 6:30 AM Hot Yoga class tomorrow. My



 

birthday ended up nice so I got some nice greetings on Facebook and well wishes from the family. It was very hardening. .
