Tuesday, March 10: 6:30 AM Yoga, extraction 🦷, Rehab & Choir

Good day America today is my version of living in America. Mary and I got up at 5:45 AM for 6:30 AM 90 minute class with Dan. It was a good growing class for sure. I’m heading to Mike’s and then running back for a 930 appointment with Colman & Turner and then at 10:15 extraction with bone graft. I also have Rehab, Work, Choir, today. At some point I’m gonna go to Mary’s and take a nap hopefully anyway, I got the Mike’s and he had the lights low and he was feeling depressed because of his life situation. God didn’t do any dishes, but Mike cleaned up on his own and he had two bags of trash, cleaned up the messy sink cleaned out his containers, wink wink and headed left his place at 9:15 to go to my 930 appointment with Dr. Turner to add another tooth to my lower A then I’m going for an extraction God I’m already tired. Anyway, I went to Dr. Turner and at 9:30 didn’t take very long. I then went to the extraction and holy crap I was seen pretty quickly. I then I’ll talk to him nor down and oh man he was right to the point and after I signed all these things saying all the things that could happen he went right in there put three shots of Novacaine and I talked about my parsonage Turner syndrome and then he went right in there and got rid of the tooth and put in the animal bone stuff. I did not even feel the tooth being yanked out, which was very weird. Anyhow, I left there told Nati eat any real solid food for the day. Anyhow, after the extraction, I wobbled down to Mike’s place and Mike had a prescription so I took advantage at fact and decided to go to Mary’s. Get my painkiller meds and take a nap. I decided to take a half hour nap. Mary is running off to her appointment and I just lied down I was sort of half asleep like the soreness is just enough to keep me half awake. I then went back down to CVS picked up my script and my script. I went down to Mike’s. Mike was disappointed. I forgot the ice cream but I did get them yogurt and that seemed to make him happy enough. Next step was to catch the bus to Rehab at McGee. That’s what I decided to do and it went pretty smoothly, except the bus had a detour, which was confusing. I went to Rehab with my machine in hand, and will it seem to appreciate me having the electronic machine, and it went pretty well. I then caught the bus back and again another wacky detour and I got back to Mike’s around 3:10 PM hung out at Mike’s till about 3:50 PM and then went back to Mary’s immediately said hi and wanted to go to sleep. There’d be no way I would’ve gone to yoga at 4 PM oh no! After I napped for about two hours,
it was time for me to get up at 6:30 PM and go to choir practice and I went to choir practice. It was beautiful walk. It was 75° and mild. As someone sat on TikTok, it was San Diego weather. He said that we have 80 days a year that are nice like this that’s 80 out of 365. I’m surprised it’s even that high. Anyway, Choir practice is pretty good. I almost forgot my headphones got them. Mary Lou and I went up during breaking. Explored the top of the church and she explained her hip issues and I explained Parson Turner syndrome and Yoga was discussed as well. It’s 9:45 PM we got out 15 minutes early

Wednesday, February 25: Implant Estimate. REST

This morning I woke up around 7:45 AM but I laid around till close to 8 AM. I had cereal and got the Mike’s around 9 o’clock. It was fairly mild. It was about 36° when I left the door. The snow is melting pretty quickly definitely compared to the last snowstorm. I went to Mike’s. We chatted a little bit and then I went to the specialist to get a price on how much implantswould be. Mind you this is only the cost of putting in a bone graft and the implant. It does not include putting in the crowns which the regular Dentest would put in. The total was about $6200. The dental plan only covered about $350. That was for the extraction. So when you add in the crowns which are approximately $1900 it’s a pretty pricey proposition. Anyhow, I’m gonna sit on that and think about it a while. This is a very big commitment because once he does the extraction in a bone graft you gotta let your mouth heal for 3️⃣ months before
finishing it off. Anyhow, after that I went to CVS and did errands for Mike at the CVS. He had no scripts it’s now 12:49 PM. I’m going to be seeing Dr. Hockenberry, at 2 PM. Then it’s off to Yoga butnot till 5:30 PM class so I’ll be able to take a nap, hopefully when I get to the Dorchester.  Anyhow, finished my appointment is now 3:03 PM. Just told the doctor all the stuff that’s goingon the last 2 1/2 3️⃣ weeks. Then three weeks before that started the whole snow frigid weather bullshit. Anyway half an hour at Mike’s or so, andthen off to the Dorchester to hopefully take a nap. Anyhow, right now 4:18 PM I officially got my full eight hours today. I’m also officially at 7% on my battery. We skipped yoga and napped. It was good. It was really good to just skipped the class. Yes today. I really needed that rest. My body and mind are tired. I feel like in the last year. I really did some aging going on. Well the Parson it’s Turner gave me that first signal and today the beep goes on.
