Good afternoon today May 13th. I was just tired. i got up at 6 am and and went back to sleep. Peter and I were the only people at work today in our unit. I saw few people but not too many. I faxed something to jury duty thing that I am not good to be able to make it and I got my greyhound tickets to Maine printed out I am going to see chart my rabbits today at five and have a coffee and go maybe it's in AA meeting. I think it's at seven tonight it was sunny with big puffy clouds. A bit cool for mid-May.

Yes today's the day you don't roughnecks think.  I do think vainglorious and you will see it on my blog tonight later on when Larry calls me to remind me to go to bed and me trying out to get up at 3 AM like it did yesterday.

Its now Tuesday morning and I slept in and will go to a later meeting. I will see my Dr tomorrow at 9:30pm. Its a sunny morning and I am listening to the Velvet Underground w/ Nico. April 19; A Friday in Spring

Mailed Jury Duty Info

Hello it's so humid spring day I didn't work hard as normal, I plan to go to my friend Matt's wedding on May 18th. I bought a round-trip ticket for $130 on the Greyhound website.  I mailed my jury duty survey. (see photo) after holding on to it for 3 days. I have that event on May 14th. I just was picked last September 19th. Heck that is ONLY 7 months ago. I mean they ran out of potential jurors already! I sent texts to 2

women I could meet up with hang out possibly. I plan to meet one for dinner at 6 in Ardmore. other than that I'm not sure what is going on this coming weekend.

We went to a place called More then Ice Cream and discussed the state of women and New Jersey. We decided not to go see a movie, since the next showing at the Ritz 6 was going to be 9:30, Caught the 21 back to Pats and he gave me a hand, a SKETCH of a hand that he drew

did not post it on Facebook since he did not like the way it came out.  We then eventually fell asleep and I got up, walked home in the rain and sow that the police CAUGHT the 2nd Boston Marathon bomber. That whole city was under a lock down all day. It looked like martial-law with tanks and armored cars rolling up the streets. Some wacko will use the video t show that the dictatorship is near! I do admit the footage was eerie!

Monday: The First Day

Its Official!!

Hello. It was the first day back in the real world of welfare. I slept in and it is the first day not going to a meeting here in Philly in awhile. I just need to slow down and move a little slower. it's such a nice day to hear the birds chirp. One day I'll get together with Sue.

She called and I finally talked to after a long hiatus I'm inpatient with folks who moan and bitch! I'm went to see Pat and take pictures of his etchings I made a bank deposit which  was a pleasant experience. The  sunset is  pretty nice and gives me the Spring. fever and Linda found my glasses hurrah I don't have to buy new glasses!!' hooray!

While I was was at Pat's, I had a delicious pasta dinner, He asked me to take a photo of an old picture of a woman on horseback. He asked me to crop the photo and send 3 or 4 copies. Pat then went ahead and spent the evening drawing a really nice sketch which you see here on this blog entry.

In other news my Maine friends seem to have kissed and made up. Hey! I get important stuff on my timeline!! So I might be going to Maine after all. Maybe, I will take Greyhound and if they break up again, it's a ROAD TRIP!'
Well, just got home and get this., I am on Jury Duty AGAIN! I have lived here on Sansom since Nov 2011 and this is my 2nd time in LESS then 2 years!
Better news, GOT MY DRIVERS LICENSE BACK!! It came in the mail and it was officially reinstated on April 4th, so I was legal when I drove from Va to Millville last Saturday night and into Sunday morning. So I will save my state ID Card for future use. So I can rent a car again.
Well, time for bed.

Waning Summer 2009

It's been awhile since I last said anything here. Believe it or not, sometimes I am not in the mood. Life has been a bit strange. The weather for instance turned from hot and muggy to crisp cool Fall in a day last week. The welfare office could be a sitcom you know. I mean, they made a show about goofy Nazis in Hogan's Hero's so anything is possible. I mean if I have to hear WDAS (glorified Top 40 pop station) play that crooner Maxwell sing about "Pretty Wings" again, I will have to take a long road trip and take a few days off in Kentucky..darn it

Today was a cure for my disinterest. I had an interesting day. I had jury duty at 12:30pm so I just slept in today till 9:30 and it felt pretty good.
I have been waking up at 5am to take the bus to philly to save some $$ etc. I was there ONLY 2 hours, I was chosen to sit in seat number 1 where 3 others had been excused from the jury. I said my occupation, where I lived, and told them of Carolyne's being a yoga instructor and running the Fithian House Gallery. I did mention that I served in a jury 2x one being a murder trial. The defense attorney booted me off and I was pleased.
I got my hair cut talked with Jim Penlin for a bit about the woman who painted the mural at the Levoy theatre. We looked up info on Paduicah We are planning to take a Labor Day road trip Sat, Sun and Monday. I love road trips. Check this out

It should make for an interesting weekend no matter what transpires in these waning days of Summer 2009.
