Thursday, April 30: My 15 Minutes of Fame 🤣

Good day, ladies and gents. I got up went to Mike’s. Soon after the nurse came but she was pleasant enough. She’s the grumpy nurse, but she isn’t pretty good spirits today. I got Mike a diet Pepsi, But I forgot my script because I got a call from Channel 3 news and I had to interview coming up On Zoom at 11 AM. While that was going on channel 6 called and when I finish the zoom call with a female reporter I think called channel 6 and they wanted me to interview over at 16th and Lombard where it happened at 2 PM. That was an interesting interview because there was two other guys that they interviewed at the corner in the really put a lot of work into it. One of the reporters came in. They interviewed a rabbi who’s at the synagogue across from the elementary school hired. They got somebody from the elementary school who had a separate video of the whole incident. that was interesting. I forgotten my hat and brought my coat with me because I like the way my black shirt looks. Then I got back to Mike’s around 2:15 PM and then here comes Fox News calling and then I called them back and they want me to interview at 3:30 PM at the corner of 15th and Lombard. Quite a busy day today meanwhile, Mike is doing pretty well and I’m gonna do yoga right after my interview these people. Hopefully they don’t have anybody else lined up like the channel 6 people too cause I really just wanna do the interview and as the cool kids say “split.” well, anyhow, I was about to go to the Photo Lounge and then I got a call from Fox News and they want to interview me around 3 o’clock. At first they were gonna interview me at 15th and Lombard at 3:30 but the guy said they would get there sooner they’re not gonna film me. They’re just gonna interview me and maybe take pictures of the of the spot. So I’m here 24 hours after it happened and it’s the sun’s coming out and traffic is moving @ it’s rush-hour pace. I’m hoping they’ll get there by 3:15 PM so I don’t have to sweat going to HYP. When I got here, the action news people were still still here. They’re still in their van and I’m hanging out in the corner.  Well, that went pretty well and it was short. He interviewed me by iPhone. And then went back to Mike’s and now I’m heading to my 4 PM 90 minute class. The Action News Report was the most thorough of all the news stations. So tried to get a link for that. Alice‘s class was great as usual my left knee. The muscle was very tight that Angellica recommendations after class about what to do about awkward and my ankles. We went back to Mary’s and I decided to skip class cause I was kind of pooped. Then we got Indian and watched the Sixers beat the Celtics Sixers beat them up pretty good. We then watched Law and order.

October 3rd: LIfe is Good!

Today I woke up early to get milk and cereal. Who was quite dark and I went by an Islamic store opening up at 6:30am.  I went to the 7-Eleven  while it was still very dark in Ole West Philly.
Later in the morning,  it became a sunny day and I showed up on time with Mike to the meeting.

Three 21 buses   showed up in a row is interesting. I got caught up in conversation with a conservative and that was very interesting. he said said he was NOT a republican yet he was sounding like FOX News
At City Hall
. He stated that I was drinking the Obama Kool-Aid  and he was right on board with the 80 of the most conservative Tea-Party Republicans that say that shutting down the government is a way to change a law. FOX is even calling it a government slimdown!!! just couldn't talk anymore about it he also was concerned on how the  rich people can avoid the ACA program. Its like the Koch Brothers are feeding a bunch of lies that FOX obediently obeys their masters and my friendly man was just following the talking points. that FOX News lays to get more folks to oppose anything.

View from the EL
FOX News causes working & middle-class people to identify with the very rich so I need to drinking something but it's not the Obama Kool-Aid.Well enough of that hot air. I came in to work pretty refreshing the decent night of sleep. It was pretty busy today and I had some caned  curried lentil soup from Amy's. It was pretty damn good.
Speaking of Kool-Aid it was warm enough to sip some. I  instead had some iced tea with my lentil soup. I got  a unopened bottle of Gatorade that was
City Hall
left in the fridge and about to be thrown out when coworkers were cleaning up the fridge and testing out all the leftovers.
I'm going to be meeting Larry at Starbucks and I'm a little bit late and then we go to group.I do plan to share you just leave it at that.
Tomorrow hope to do first Friday with Laura and we will meet up with Larry and his wife.

6:23 PM this blog will be updated and edited for appearance sake it's a lot easier to edit and proofread on the computer then on the app which I am on I'm speaking to the phone.to dictate this blog.

I was talking to my friend Laura and it was enjoyable fun and cosmic. I like to listen to her observations of the world
11" x 15" watercolor, marker, and magazine cut-outs on cardboard 1988
around her. Its a place with sweeping vistas and dreams. A communion of consciousness and communication. This is the best that words can muster. I think the universe gets it am glad I get to listen to it. Here is one of her works that can be found on the website for artists called Show Me.  The piece on the right is called "Caged Soul."The vivid colors and the wondering eye are striking and I can look at it with ease. Well its late as anything and need to shower and get some sleep. Its going to be in the 80's for the rest of the weekend. Right now the weekend is open except Friday night. I might see my neighbor and hang at her back porch. It IS like Summer with the warm weather and no rain for the past 3 weeks. Its a time for change and the air is bracing for this.

Hamilton and our Present Economic State.

I have been listening to the Hannity Blowhard Hr and hearing other crap about the Obama stimulus plan. I got all bothered and after talking a friend's ear off, I went though the internet and found out some interesting info. This site debunks the falsehoods being spread by the spoiled right wing of the Republican Party.

I just saw a reference to Report on Manufactures (1791). by Alexander Hamilton This Now this man was smart. Here is a little bit about it.

I bet its not popular reading at the Heritage Foundation or FOX News.
I never know this document existed, so I suppose I might want to get this book called "Alexander Hamilton in the American Tradition"

Below is an Abstract, I liked, on a paper called
The Aftermath of Hamilton's 'Report on Manufactures' by Douglas A. Irwin

"Alexander Hamilton's Report on Manufactures (1791) is a classic document in the history of U.S. economic policy, but its fate in Congress is not well known. It is commonly believed that the report was never implemented. Although Hamilton's proposals for bounties (subsidies) failed to receive support, virtually every tariff recommendation put forward in the report was adopted by Congress in early 1792. These tariffs were not highly protectionist duties because Hamilton feared discouraging imports, which were the critical tax base on which he planned to fund the public debt. Indeed, because Hamilton's policy toward manufacturing was one of encouragement and not protection, those interests shifted their political support from the Federalists to the Jeffersonian Republicans during the 1790s."

Let me know what you think. I agree with Thom Hartman that President Obama read this, but again I am sure he has!!
