Wednesday, January 21: Leaving Cozumel. Arriving to Philly

Mary and I got up around 5:30 AM for a 45 minute 6 AM yoga class down outside. Today was the mild this morning of all the mornings we were here. We went down for yoga and that was very pleasant. Then we went up to our room to get our final packing done and I took a shower because I was a bit sweaty. I then almost cracked my ankle and fell down as I was leaving the room. That was a little bit scary. Anyhow, met up with Linda and Dave and we paid for the taxi ride with the last of my pesos that I had left. That ride was pretty smooth then we got to the boat for the 8:00 AM boat ride.

Well we arrived at the boat and the boat was really rocky. Mayor got seasick and eventually Dave and Linda came in the inside part. I couldn’t believehow much this boat rocked. It’s a big boat, but it really is rocky and shit. I felt flat on my face trying to move around. Well, the 9 o’clock ADO

bus turned to a 928 bus to eight 9:50 AM radio Bus to the airport glad we left early. well, the lady Bus did arrive at the airport. Lynne and Dave

ran off because they’re afraid they were going to miss their plane. Looks like they made it in plenty of time. We saw them boarding. Mary

and I especially meet a junk food  & I started editing my blogs. It gave me something to do while waiting around. The flight left on time.
I was a pretty smooth flight. We actually arrived in Philadelphia a half hour early, which is a good thing because we had to wait about eight minutes for the Uber and
the traffic heading back into town was kind of bad. And Mary said she’s hungry I should order the Indian while we’re sitting in the Uber so we did
brought herself back stuff back home and I put on my winter coat that I had left. I have choir rehearsal next-door in 45 minutes is now 6:16 PM found out that Mike justgot home today a little before 5 PM today. Mike has not made any contacting me. He did contact Mary however. He still has no phone and one of his Mom’s Meals orders had to be thrown out cause it went sour, but he has plenty of food in that refrigerator. Anyhow, might to throw it back and set it and sent me his sister’s phone number. I got the Indian food ate half of it and quickly ran to choir rehearsal. I’m gonna be about five minuteslate. It’s pretty cold, but I’m pretty bundled up layers and stuff. I’m not dressed up for a dress rehearsal, but you know what the hell I just wanna make it that’s all. what’s the reversal went pretty well I must say. My teeth behave themselves. I came back to our place and purposely stayed up late so I could pass out

and not have the teeth. Keep me up all night. I finished off my dinner and that was that I’m hoping to get an emergency phone call to the dentist to get an emergency appointment. Just wanted to let you all now that customs in Philadelphia was smooth. There was no line but the best part is that all they do is scan your face and your checked. It was
Great actually compared to what I had to put up with getting back from Costa Rica to Charlotte

Thursday, January 15: Off to Cozumel Mexico!🇲🇽

What the alarm went off at 6:30 AM and we decided that we would sleep a little more. Byron told us we didn’t need to come in three hours early

cause there’s not that much traveling going on this time of year. So we got up, ate our breakfast sandwiches and had our coffee. We then called Lyft Since they were cheaper than Uber, they had a 20% sale. We

got the airport and went through TSA pre-at terminal C Since that’s where the TSA pre-wash. The pre-went really really fast. I had to drink my

coffee real fast. We arrived with plenty of time to spare. I’m gonna run into Linda and Dave soon. It’s now 9:02 AM flight leaves at 10:30 AM. Well,

we met this really nice couple. One guy is a distinguished professor in University of Delaware and he’s they were talking about Uzbekistan, which is just really great for tourism. They just opened up the tourism. Wouldn’t it be great if Mary and I went to use Pakistan that would be a total like cool not even Wes LaBlanc has gone to Kurdistan

Anyhow, we’re flying along and I realized I need charging on my phone and none of the chargers work. I even went to Linda and Dave seat on the

airline and their chargers don’t work and the charger in the bathroom some kind of international 110 V bullshit plug and I did not bring one of those converters. I’m hoping since it’s a tourist trap they have regular

connections for phones and shit. Anyhow, all the sunscreen we bought was bogus we didn’t read close to the instructions not allowed to use

sunscreen so we have to buy some like long sleeve shirts to protect ourselves from the sun. Oh well. Well, we arrived on time and then we caught

the ADO bus. It’s pretty luxurious and they have charging stations which was pretty clutch for me. We’re it’s a total of an hour and 20 minutes and

we have 53 minutes left. They’re stopping a lot in the beginning. well, we arrived at play at the Carman and we then had to run and catch a very large ferry boat to Cozumel

itself. We just caught it in time for the 5:30 PM departure Playa de Carman was pretty. Cool. There are a lot of people there and there are some cool

sites to see there. We went with Linda and Dave and loopy on the boat. I got some good pictures of this whole situation of us walking from the bus

to the ferry. Anyhow, once we got to the ferry, we chose to sit outside in the sunlight rather indoors in the air-conditioning. It was very nice outside, but it was very windy as well. It wasn’t cold, but it was very very windy. Fortunately the boat we were always pretty big so it wasn’t rocking too much. The ferry took about 30 minutes to 45 minutes. I’m not sure. Once we arrived at Cozumel, Byron was there

to greet us right there and we all said hi and extended pleasant tree. We then took a cab and we were told to pay the guy approximately $10 or so for all of us. We fortunately had a cat that

was big enough to hold all four of us in along with our luggage. That was quite some doing for sure. But the cab got us there at the hotel be and we arrived at the hotel checked and showed our
passports and then put our stuff inside the hotel then we went upstairs to the roof to do a 60 minute yoga class. It was done that way because it was very very windy and it was running late. So we

did each pose once. It was pretty cool. It was so damn windy. It was very funny too. Once we finish that we went back to our room got changed in some warmer clothes and then dinner was ready and it was really good that chicken and fish and vegetables

and it was all freshly made. It was very tasty. I was a really hungry. I had a tooth issue, but I don’t think it was anything awful but it did hurt for a second so I was very careful. After dinner, we came back

and figured out the air-conditioning thing had a clicker and we didn’t know when we called Hotel staff up here and we felt really silly, but we were kind of loopy after all that. It came to our

attention. It was 4️⃣ hours from landing the airplane in Cancun to arriving at the airport. We went through Bus, ferry, and then taxi cab, to get to

the hotel. By then arranged my clothes on the One bed and brushed my teeth and got this blog written up because I know I’m not gonna have time

and I’m going to be tired as hell tomorrow so I wanted to get this blog written up along

with the video that comes with it. A really, very fun interesting first day six day long Yoga adventure in Mexico. Link to the YouTube video of today in case it doesn’t come out on the blog.   https://youtu.be/ruegwD3_N-o?si=9mzEA4vPQj5eemZp
