Sunday, February 15th: Trip to LBI. Dinner @ Dave’s

Good morning everybody today is day 3️⃣ of the time warp that is mid February 2026. Thank you. Anyhow this morning I got up around8:30 AM tired is all hell barely conscious my eyes were stuck to my eyeballs. I got up and went to Hot Yoga , Philadelphia not to go to class at 9 o’clock, but to pick up mats. I was so tired oh my God. Anyhow, picked up the mats, saw Dan.  Tucker said hello and I then left. I came
back & napped for about a half hour with Mary. Then we gained consciousness and decided to go to the Montreal spread bagel to pick up coffee since it’s so close and pick up the egg and cheese sandwiches.

Then we would head out to Long Beach Island with our rental car that we purchased. Well, the tribe was pretty smooth. There was no trafficbecause it was off-season and on a Sunday. Most people leave the island on Sunday when it’s summertime. Anyhow, we went to the island and we
went directly to the yacht club because we saw that the clubhouse was completely raised and had frame for a new two-story clubhouse. This dude was very curious why we pulled over so I pulled head figuringhe didn’t want me in front of the chain-link fence at the construction site. Then even after I moved, the guy was still curious why it was here. I told him right up front. My parents used to be members of the club back in the day. And then he gave me some information about certain old members that

were still there and that the new clubhouse won’t be done till December of this year meaning December 2026. Those are an interesting conversation. I videotaped it and then we moved on to the old De Frida’s parking lot. That’s all that’s left a parking lot. Nothing has been built on that property since they tore it down several years ago. We then decided to go straight from Nardi‘s Tavern, which we drove by and go to Holgate. Holgate was pretty cool. It was extra cold and windy. We saw this remembrancearea with people putting
remembrance of deceased friends or relatives. They put these on seashells and it was in a grouping so I got the idea. I should do something for mom so we found a good shell and we were going to do it right then and there, but nobody had a sharpie that we could use so we brought it back do the
Dorchester. Before we went to the Dorchester, we went up to Barnegat light and found some mallards and we found Dave and Debbie a gift but
we were very tempted to buy him a big mallard decoy which we just laughed and laughed. It was funny as shit. We then got back to the Dorchester in

mellowed out. It was great to have time to relax w/ Mary.
