Monday, July 7: MVC and City Hall Paperwork

Hi. Today is Monday, July 7, 2025. After having trouble getting to sleep, I decided that I would get up really early and get ready to pick

up the rental car from 30th St. station at 8 o’clock sharp. I wanted to get to the place early thank you. Anyhow, I fixed the Google maps so it would show the Market Frankford.

Lines. Google maps wasn’t giving me the market. Frankfurt line is a choice. I almost tookUber which would’ve been completely unnecessary and they

wanted to charge $22 Uber and LIFT wanted to each charge that much so I took the train it showed up on time and that was a blessed thing that’s for sure. The Alamo person was almost late, but they

served somebody before me and they were pretty quick about it and I found the car quickly and I looked at Google maps and I can’t get to Ferguson Court by 9 AM. So I got there right around 9️⃣

and I went back up towards Cherry Hill to Take care of business. They were very instructive and very nice to us and told us exactly how to sign the forms at the end a new license plate was given out and

my name was wiped off. I then drove back to Millville dropped her off and then drove back to Philly and just run about to return the car. I realized I didn’t fill up with gas. The Amoco

station that used to be a 44th market been dug up so I went to Sunoco 46th and that was packed and I found out why because the pumps are really slow so I did that and decided to go to a coffee place at the corner of 45th

and Locust. Anyhow, I decided to go to The green line Café they have several locations in West philly this one’s at 45th and Locust. While I was eating my vegan sandwich, I saw this

YouTube Video. It makes the statement that the Democratic Party is not a left-wing party and I would tend to agree with that. It’s just the Republican Party is so far right that it pulls everyone over towards the right I think that’s called the Overton window.

Anyhow, I finished eating. It’s 209 time to return the car and go to City Hall. Hopefully it’s open despite the strike from district council 33. Anyway, once again,

I just finished yesterday’s blog posting in and just caught up to today’s doings. Anyhow, I got to City Hall and had to go all around circles to the north end of the building cause that’s the only

place in the public allowed in. Once I got in this place, I had to go through security, which was taking off my belt taking everything out of my pocket & then going

through a metal  detector. One of the guards which wasn’t sure if they were open I walked in this building and it was like

an abandoned building. There’s nothing going on here I guess because I

guess some of the employees are part of district council 33 or they all

get out early I don’t know.I showed him my papers and they said they would check the archives and if the archives part is open, but I know what the answer is.

They don’t have a copy. They’re gonna tell me the same thing they told me last time but I’m gonna sit through
 it because
I got copies of documentation. Will they return with

something official which they stated they didn’t have before which was very

strange but I wasn’t gonna question. I just grabbed the papers. Paid

my money and got the hell out.
