Thursday, February 5: Return to Elmwood District Yoga

Good day everyone out there in the Internet land. Did I woke up around 8:10 AM and had a quick bowl of cereal woke up Mary and then headed out to Mike’s. I brought all the materials at Marriott printed out and then Mike had a visit from Tony. Tony ran Mike through the paces and at the same time Penn called about Mike’s condition so while Tony is there Penn talk to Tony and Mike. They agreed that Mike’s doing a little better since the operation. Anyhow, after that, I showed Mike all the papers I brought in the folder and he sent me his rent history and we did find his Social Security award letter and we put in his birth certificate and a copy of the Social Security card we don’t have the original. Hopefully we can turn that in later and still keep a spot. And then I left to go to my old Supervisor‘s retirement party. She’s retiring as of today. Unfortunately, she was very late and I didn’t really get to hang out at the party unfortunately I had to split for my therapist appointmentwhich is at one so I’m gonna be about 15 to 20 minutes late which is not great but I just can’t not show up. Well, as I was leaving the retirement

celebration, I heard from Mary and she slipped on black ice and fell on her back and head. She said she felt a little out of it and a little dizzy. I suggest that she go to urgent care and she did did go to urgent care they’re gonna see her today. I came back to Mike’s. We determined his appointment with 801 locus‘s at 10:00 AM not 11:00 AM. Some lady called Mike and he was just blabbing and blabbing and blabbing while I ate a very late lunch. Next thing you know it was time for me to leave Mike’s premises and sign out and run off the class. I am running a little bit later than I like. I didn’t put
any of the thermal underwear on, so hopefully I can get undressed fast enough. Mary still waiting to be seen by urgent care. It’s 3:45 PM andit’s cold but it’s not ridiculously cold. Well, I went to Shalice’s 4 o’clock class. I was in the back corner towards the window. It was a good class and I felt positive about how I did. Know what’s concernedabout Mary the whole time but I managed to do OK in the poses and modify when needed. I got a compliment from Tina. She said she had seen one of my poses that was nice. I’m gonna be getting smoothies for both of us since Mary is in the ER department because that’s what the urgent care suggested that you do. And if she didn’t go to the emergency room, they were going to have her sign a piece of paper saying that she refused so it’s now 5:45 PM she’s just seeing the doctor now I’m gonna walk to 10th and Sansom with two smoothies. I’m glad it’s not wickedly cold out. It’s now 27°, which isn’t terrible but a cold snap is coming through tomorrow and Saturday maybe into Sunday so I’ll have to wear the longjohns again. I postponed the cleaning woman from the 15th to March 1 cause I was afraid she wouldn’t be able to park at the meters near my house. We ended up bleeding at the emergency room and she was finally seen, but we didn’t leave till about 10:15 PM. It was a bit exhausting and strange that is loud heating generator on it just made all this noise. There was an angry homeless due to cause a little bit of trouble. Mary checked out OK no bleeding. She’s just told to take aspirin and Tylenol frequently for the next day and a half or so. We then ate some of the stuffed peppers. 🫑 they were quite delicious and both of us were really hungry after a long day especially for Mary. But I think she’s gonna be OK. Tell you this winter weather for the second half of January in February has been quite nasty. We’re supposed to get some really really windy temperature Saturday and into Sunday with a little dusting of snow on top of the stuff

we already got. I can’t wait till spring.

Friday, October 1: Guard KILLED at Glendale!! Escape to Ashbridge park

Good day everybody today is Friday. It’s a beautiful day outside and I

need to get work done. I noticed that my supervisor was not in because I sent mail. Your work support list did not come in yet so I have forwarded
me some time to play catch-up. I knew that I had to get work done. Anyway I want to get a chance to go outside and have fun. I did
talk on phone with some friends and kid care of that business.  Well

I finally got most of the stuff I had to get done and decided I would go to Morris Arboretum via SEPTA. I went down to 30th St. and when I was doing that I was able to buy tickets for Amtrak.

Amtrak’s really expensive. I decided I would do the crack of dawn train since it was about $30 cheaper than if I left at 7 o’clock. So it’s 4:26 AM train after I made that decision I noticed there’s a
train coming up to Chestnut Hill local I tried to buy a round-trip but the lady wouldn’t let me. I thought that was really strange so strange

but I didn’t have time to argue. I ran over caught the train before it left. And then realized after I said then I was in the Bryn Mawr express train.  I talked  to 2

really nice Nice folks. They were telling her the trains are been running weird lately. One woman has a five-month-old child, she said she went to three different

trains trying to get to Rosemont. Anyhow I decided go to eat Ashbridge Memorial  Park. It’s a little tiny park but it was very convenient to Montgomery Avenue. I went there and got to relax. I felt so good just sit there

and not do anything enjoy the cool fall day. The real big news of the day was in the Glendale welfare office. A security guard was shot by a client and was killed.! This happened

around 11:30 AM today resort on the Union webpage and then I looked. The Commonwealth didn’t acknowledge it on the statewide email untilafter 5 PM as noted in email above. It was 5:21 PM  when it was officially announced on the statewide system via the email. Anyhow  I went to an old pizza place and I had a chicken cheesesteak I was so hungry I tried that thing down very quick. I saw that the top story

was that

killing at the Glendale office. And then eventually finished and headed on down to the Norristown high

speed line at the Roberts Road stock. I didn’t got home finished up some work and talked on the phone to various folks some longer
than others. At the end of the day Wes called me he’s moving out at the end

of this month. He may get a job in San Francisco. He plans to live with his brother if he gets the job.
