Wednesday, May 14: Urgent Care for Shoulder

Well today after a very awful night of no sleep and extreme shoulder pain, I managed to squeeze in two hours of real sleep. That pain was was exquisitely horrible oh my God I couldn’t sleep. Mary did her best to try to take care of my

situation and I spread out on the floor just sleeping on my back buy I don’t sleep on my back with pain. Eventually, I crawled the bed around 10 o’clock and slept till 1:30 PM after I got up, I decided not to go to work

and decided to try to find a new doctor, but they weren’t gonna be able to see me till July and I thought well, I’ll be dead by then if I don’t see somebody. So Mary gave me an idea of going

to Jefferson urgent care right on 20th and Chestnut. I was seen in a half hour. They were very efficient I had they did an x-ray on my left shoulder. They found that there is no tear. There was a strained muscle the

same one the massage therapist came up with he recommended. She recommended the same exercises and gave me a script for 600 mg ibuprofen

and a muscle relaxing. That will be taken at night when the pain really kicks in so I picked up my scripts just now and I’m getting a sweater
for Mary. It’s now around 4 PM. Obviously I’m

not gonna be going to Yoga for the rest of this week and probably not till late next week it’s the rate I’m going I don’t know. Well, I got back to Mary’s ate a

sandwich hung out for a bit and then I took a nap before going to my 7 o’clock choir rehearsal for the pride concert. Rehearsal was fairly intense considering I went through like 55 pieces in 2 1/2 hours. Of course the room was really chilly and it’s still misty rain outside as of 9:55 PM. I’m not in great pain, but it’s like a throbbing presence in my head as well as my body. It’s just beginning I’m already sick of it! Anyway, I just hope I can sleep tonight that would make a big difference

Friday, June 14: Citadel Interview, DM Medical and Mike’s

Hi! Today I woke up at 6:30 AM to get ready for my interview with Citadel Home-care now

going to be called Eminence home-care. I’ve known about this appointment for a week when I was called and left a message while I was on vacation with Mary.  I woke

up early so I had plenty of time to roll out of bed. Eat breakfast talk to Mary and dress up in an outfit that’s more appropriate for a job interview. This was like a job

review because I was Mike and I were reported for possible neglect. Anyway, I got there in time and the ladies were very nice and
very hospitable and basically seemed to acknowledge they had to do this. Anyhow, I was able to write out a statement and get a plan

written out for the future. Next thing I did was I want to DM
medical for my 11 AM appointment. Dr had me sign the release form again. They changed a couple things and then they

took a blood sample. It’s now 11:39 PM. I am going to take the Broadstreet line southto get to Lombard as quickly as possible so I can sign in. Well, I had

to call Citadel to get them to put the clock on my app so I could sign in so I signed in around noon and I set it up to sign out at 5 PM. Hi, then brought
a shirt and got lunch for Mike before going into

Pennsylvania hospital. Then visited Mike at the hospital and he was being released around 2 PM. They got the scripts and checked them out. They were very polite. They used the wheelchair and we got an Uber out to his place. then put away the rest of Mom’s Meals and he hast to cancel.e. Got a lot done when I made the bed

put new sheets on that were clean and, did my basic job. It’s now 5:03 PM.  I forgot to get fucking Gatorade. Quickly went to CVS bought a very large one

and got a $10 credit. I went to the 530 happy hour class and I forgot the woman’s name it teaches it. Anyhow I made it to the class didn’t get faint, but it was very hot

but she released the door. After we got back to Mary’s, I just

sat and then I lied down for two hours I was wiped out! We then had vegetarian

burgers and went to bed. I was just absolutely wiped the fuck out. It was quite

a day quite a weekof stuff. I think tomorrow
looks like a day of rest. I might even skip the 4 o’clock yoga class just to recoup my energy and mojo. Because when I said, I was tired, it was serious tired. Gotta listen to the body.

Thursday, June 13: A Day Off w/ Yoga

I set my alarm for 7:30 AM and after I did that, I checked my work scheduling

app and they don’t have me scheduled in and I heard from Mike that I’m not supposed to come in and report to caregiving until I go through this disciplinary

hearing which is now scheduled for tomorrow at 9 AM sharp. Due to that and also not getting hardly any sleep yesterday I just laid around and slept on and on off day all day. I needed to do and I took advantage

of it. Mike is still in the hospital so he won’t be released till tomorrowIt’s now 3 PM. I’m just getting to the Dorchester with my super coffee ☕️ in hand. I’m still a little tired, but I got a lot more sleep than otherwise would’ve had , if Mike was released from the hospital.

my appointment  with DM that’s that begins at 11 o’clock tomorrow so I

just try to get out of that disciplinary hearing within the  40 minute time. My disciplinary

hearing would be telling the me how inappropriate I am hell incompetent

I am, but I’ll dress up my choir outfit. Well, I went to yoga class today and that room was piping hot. And we’re gonna have piping hot weather starting today and into next week

we will be hitting close to 100° outside. So Mary and I after yoga class decided

to buy Dr. Bronner because, it feels great on your skin and makes you

feel cooler. I’m actually thinking of using my hand towels, wet towel make it wet and put Dr. Bronner

on with the mint and getting some relief specially, as it hits Temperatures

of over 100° in the studio. We bought some small bottles so we could put the Dr Bronner’s because they sell it and these big ass

bottles and we’re talking huge bottles. Anyhow, I went to the CODA meeting, and that was really good actually. Some of the regular people weren’t there, but there were enough
people
to have a full meeting. I think caught the bus and again my stupid key card keeps being declined, even though I saw my bank account that $25.50 was taken out

of my account so I will have to properly call SEPTA or talk to them whatever
