Good day everyone. Today it was five years ago, January 6, 2021 when Trump instigated an insurrection as the 2020 election was being certified.
I remember being at work at home and watching David Pakman report on it live I was mesmerized and just quietly shocked by what was going on. They didn’t arrest the people right away. They
let everyone go and then they chased them all down just for Trump to end up pardoning all the fuckers when he got into office for a second time this past
January. Anyway, I woke up got dressed headed to Mike’s. Got there before the nurse did the nurse came and then I had to run off to DM Medical to get a blood draw. They said it was the last time I’ll have
to make a formal visit to the office the rest of the time I’ll be reporting via online app or a phone call. It’s 11:50 AM I’m about to have lunch. Hopefully I’ll get Mike to
do his exercise before I leave today. I have to leave early because I have an appointment with Dr. Nala where I have to be there by 3:05 PM. I will
not be doing any yoga today due to this appointment. I had lunch and the occupational therapist showed up and walked in the door and we didn’t know
she was coming, cause she kept calling Mike’s number fortunately Tony gave her the code to the key, and Mike did some exercises with her. Mike took a nap and then we did. He did some walks
back-and-forth. It’s now 2:37 PM. It’s pretty cloudy out here and I’m good and ready to Uber out to this appointment because I don’t feel like
walking 20 minutes to my appointment. I’m gonna try to sign in and sign out not as early if I could help myself. I’m going to see Dr. Nylla about
my shoulder. We really had to work hard to get this appointment. well, I went with LIFT to wait and save and the driver was picked up very quickly and it was only a six minute wait. I left around 2:50 PM and
signed out. I’m heading to Dr. Nylla‘s appointment. They want you there at 3:05 I’ll get there at 3:05 PM approximately. I’m gonna meet
Mary there as well. We’re gonna go over my left shoulder and maybe both shoulders while we’re at it. I arrived at 3:02 PM and I had to check in with the redundancy machine a.k.a. they’re checking in computer. This
even though I did the pre-check on my phone. The redundancy is pretty amazing. Mary isn’t quite here yet, but my appointment isn’t until 3:20 PM, but they want you to come 10 minutes early so I can look at the walls and play with my phone and shit. I’m good at that. I saw Dr. Nala today. Took off my shirts and showed her the winging that’s going on on my left side. We had a very frank discussion
about the whole thing. She’s going refer me to neurology. In the meantime, she’s gonna give me gabapentin for the nerve pain at night and I am scheduled
for a EMG. The closest appointment was March 9 at 8 AM. She was a useless schedule the rehab so I have to call the rehab place the same place I went to before and get that scheduled. She didn’t see any needfor an MRI or a or an ultrasound. But we are in there for a while and it’s just the same thing it’s gonna be a slug. Mary joined me and asked their own questions. So now I have to schedule for neurology
which you have to call because there’s no available appointments on the system rehab which is available very soon, but I don’t know when the schedule an EMG is scheduled for Monday, March 9 at 8 AM. We left Jefferson and walked to Mom’s market at 11th and Ludlow. Got some burgers, salsa and sprouts for tonight‘s dinner. We then went to CVS picked up a couple items and then went back to
the Dorchester. Why were we there? We decide to have dinner early because we didn’t have yoga and I also have choir practice at 7:00 PM. 🍔 . I then got notice my prescription was ready
at the CVS on 15th and Spruce so I had to leave Mary’s early at around 6:30 PM to go walk CVS and then walk back to resurrection. So succeed in doing that and got here around 6:55 PM here at the
resurrection Church. I also got notification in my items mailed to Hurley Court. Made it. I just wanted to have some kind of food so that worked out. Today, West cold but not frigid
cold like it has been it’s starting to warm up a little bit. But my chiropractor was pretty good today. I must say. Dan was in a good mood and mostly everybody showed up. It was held at the resurrection church, which is at 17th and Sansom, which is a lot closer. Generally, it’s a good thing but today I had to pick up my script for the gabapentin for nerve pain. Tonight, I’m going to
I had to get up early because I’m having an EMG test conducted. It’s in Jefferson Hospital land which means I have to go to 25 S.9th St. Plenty of time but
the 17 bus to show six minutes early in the elevator took forever to catch cause everybody’s leaving for work. Some woman on the seventh floor was looking at her phone and I yelled at “seventh floor.“ She called the elevator I ended up missing the bus and walking at chestnut Street. Fortunately the bus came fairly quickly. I just called back fairly quickly for the EMT appointment. They did some motion test. She took a look at my wing scapula and this test has two parts some kind of nerve diode thing and then the acupuncture needles. This is the
second part. I just finished the EMG. It was pretty intense. Yes I have nerve damage on both sides. The left side. I have it on my rotator cuff, on my right side.
I have it near my scapula. They don’t know if the nerves will recover or not. They have no idea there’s nothing they can really do about it. I have this syndrome called Parsonage Turner syndrome. Yeah, I feel pretty beat
up right now but at least I know what I have just do PT till I’m dead, I guess. Anyhow, I rested afterwards. I walked all the way back and I lied down to Mike’s bed for a minute
looked at TikTok videos and drank some super coffee to offer me blessed relief. I talked with Mary and Mike. Mike is definitely getting out of the hospital
today around 1 o’clock. Mary then came over to Mike’s place and we did some further
organizing and cleaning before you got home. We put the bookshelf
where the clothing was and put the clothing where the bookshop bookshelf
was right behind Mike so he can grab his own clothes. We then talk
to Mike for a while. Mary and I walked back to her place and I picked up my yoga clothes and walked all the way back to
Mike’s to sign out by 3:30 PM. Well, I went to class and Lupe was teaching.
This is one week since I came to my first class and loopy taught it. I did
my usual, not using my arms and shoulders routine. I’m starting to routine
it, but it still feels different. Afterwards, we hung out at the studio
and we talked to Evan. He’s going away to perform out in California. So he’ll
be gone the entire month of July. I went to my CODA meeting
