Monday, January 12: Mike @ Hospital. Errands and Yoga.
Good day everybody I got up around 9:30 AM and then had my breakfast and then decided that I’d walk down to Mike’s before visiting him
to the hospital. I decided that I needed to mop because the place still had that stinky smell that I can’t stand and I’m sick of right now. I got the
giblets from the bathroom and mopped with some pine cleaner. I then got a call from Dr. SEE to bring down the apparatus to measure Mike’s heart.
So I decided I’d bring down also the eye surgery papers that Mike needs for his cataracts. So I called Uber and did the wait and save. Funny thing is they
tried to get me to pay four dollars on a 6️⃣ dollar ride. That’s how they get you anyway. It’s very tricky. Anyway, I arrived at the hospital not really
in a great mood went to his room. The place kinda had a smell to it. Mike had a person next to him in the hospital. Who’ve been there for a year
who used to be the chief chef of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Museum of art. He’s in bad shape. Nice guy, though. Then I left cameback here and had lunch and my phone died so now I have to go back and go back home and get my passport and go back to Mary’s. I did call AT&T. They say that my plan covers calling from Mexico but I didn’t get a human. I got a machine so I recommended Mary to call them as well. It’s 2 PM. Also, one thing I
want to say is fuck Phil Collins!!! Soon after, I called AT&T Mary said that she called him and she’s gonna call. Get a call back in 46 minutes. That’s what it takes to call a human being. Anyway, charge
up my phone to 60% and then left Mike’s to take the Broad Street line and the Market Frank-ford Line. Anyhow, I moved seats cause they’re a bunch of school
kids and I assume feel completely safe with a bunch of school kids around God anyway it’s 3:15 PM. I walked past Walnut out of habit so I’ll just walk
straight up Locust Mary’s and I’ll probably get there close to 330 just in time to turn around and leave for a 4 PM class with Byron. He must be busy.
He’s teaching a yoga certification class and teaching Mondays and at least Saturdays. Well, I’m glad he did this. Senator Mark Kelly sued the Pentagon for the
demotion of his rank by Pete Hegseth for him speaking out about disobeying unconstitutional orders. I arrived at Mary’s and we talked about the
trip and a suggestion was not to bring a winter coat. Just wear sweatshirt and deal with it that way. That’s a good idea. One less thing to drag around
that’s for sure. Anyhow, we’re getting ready for class. Well, we went to Byron‘s 4:00 PM class. There wasn’t that many of us. There was two women
in the rest people were guys. I grabbed the samosas and signed in. My shoulder had been pretty stiff off and on all day. Anyhow, I did the best I could in class so some posters were better than others
as usual. Mary and I are concentrating on our preparation for Cozumel when we fly out Thursday morning. I got my passport today and sandals to add
to my stuff that I’m packing. It’s now 7:54 PM going to get some stuff at the store and then we’re gonna both have samosas which are very filling 2 1/2 each and it’s plenty of food. what are the samosas
were quite delightful and we watched two episodes of Law and order after we talked about our trip to Cozumel. both of law and order episodes were compelling. Tomorrow, I’ve got to get Mike to call Hughes to buy some food from his food stamps. We’ll find out if he gets out tomorrow, but it most likely turns out it’s gonna be Wednesday, which could be a problem with with my appointment, which is at 2 PM Wednesday that’s about the time. Mike usually gets out of the hospital after all the bureaucratic nonsense.
