Independence Day 2008

Today the news of Carolyne's contract not being renewed hit the Millville News today. I will leave the commentary to others for the time being. Suffice to say the last 3 months were not very nice.
We went to Bogarts and had yummy food good people and music to boot. We then cleared out the RRCA office of personal items and returned the RRCA Computer. and now I am going to take a nice shower and chill

Mark, this is how they say thank you? What is going on in the Artists Community? I as many others were of the opinion that the arts district was doing well. Now I am mixedup.

She has received many thanks but the Artists and shop owners are gonna have to make some noise or this could get REAL STUPID!!!

The issue is dealing with those that have an Independent agenda.

Mark,
Is the survey on Carl's website in reference to Carolyn?

No, that survey is whether or not a certain joke is funny or not. A precursory reading of the blog entry will explain all anyone needs to know.

Thank you for the clarification.

This is so shocking and still hard to believe that someone as skilled as Carolyne would be booted by a bunch of people who are NOT professionals in the arts, who clearly don't have a clue how much she contributed to the reputation of RRCA, and who are mean-spirited enough to want to deny the town a memorial to Pirate Don--one of its most supportive and colorful figures, who was obviously loved by everyone. Absolute lunacy.
