Sunday, June 28: First Day in Poway

Good day everybody out there in the East Coast, West Coast, and Alaska. We slept in today because of being tired and I had my first good night. Sleep in two days. Turns out Alice wasn’t free today. She found out she had to work. So Maryann and I had breakfast. Mary cooked up a nice batch of eggs, which are very tasty and then I’m just sitting here in the kitchen looking at various social media. I found this on Instagram about a cartoon I watch when I was really young called Kimba the White Lion. God, I haven’t heard that theme song in 50 or 60 years. It’s been forever. I can’t believe I just saw it on Instagram people bring up this old stuff constantly. It’s pretty amazing. Well, we heard from someone back in Philly that the heat wave is about to hit. And I looked on the weather and it’s gonna hit 102° Thursday and Friday this week just in time for us to get back to Philly. Boy we go from 60° in in Alaska to 102°. That’s an endless summer I’ve ever heard ofone. Anyhow, Mary &, I went to the target and we noticed that the Starbucks on the side was closed down because of renovations. We bought more coffee cereal, yogurt, bananas, etc. We came back and Alice was lying down after working so we decided that we would just do takeout rather and go out to dinner. We ordered Indian food, which is very tasty. Then we all was lazy and just did her own thing on her phones and booked, etc. It was a very relaxing day for sure.

Thursday, June 11: Relaxing @ Poway

After a wonderful sleep, we got up around 10:30 AM. We Jettisoned the idea of going to the club because we were very much sleepy and we decided we’d eat breakfast and take our time. We had cereal and some coffee. I also had a juicy as well. Quite frankly, the coffee didn’t taste great so we just kind of drank it. That was about it. After that, we just met around the house and relax. I got this email from enterprise Rent-A-Car from a “management trainee“ who wrote this really formal letter stating that I needed a live credit card, and a drivers license with no restrictions. That was the first time I ever heard of such a thing before. A drivers license for that restrictions. So I called Capitol One and got an email verifying that I have coverage. It’s one of the better benefits of the Capitol One card that I have called the savior card. Anyway, it’s now 12:58 PM and we’re gonna go out to get some Greek lunch while House also go to DMV and get some stuff done. Oh yes, Becky was here loading her stuff into the pods storage thing in the middle of Alice’s driveway. She filled it up and they’re Going come by sometime between 7 AM tomorrow and 4 PM tomorrow. Yes that’s typical u-Haul bullshit. It’s now 1:25 PM. We’re sitting inside for a moment before going to walk back to our favorite happen in place target which has a Starbucks and delicious bars that Mary discovered when we were in a hurry to buy stuff and towels. Alice has been working all day. We just heard from our friend Meghen, who has been to Alaska  and Takena. She gave us some tips of some stores to go to in Takena, which is a cute little small town will be hitting after we leave Anchorage. Will be staying there for four days. We’re sitting here drinking the delicious iced coffee and we have the one table and we’re sitting here. We ended up staying at target till about 4 o’clock and then we got back at 4:30 PM. We were gonna go do something with Alice but I also had a meeting at 6:30 PM and thought it wasn’t enough time and we ended up just chilling in the house with the cool AC and mellow way out the whole night. We did watch a really stupid movie called catch and release. Jennifer Gardner was in and it was just terrible romantic comedy. We were just making fun of it the whole time. Then we discussed Car Rental in charge which was really stimulating and exciting not…… Anyway, we then eventually crash for the evening. 

Friday, March 6: Sleep.😴 Mike Home

Well today started off waking up nice and laid around 11 AM this morning. That rest was quite glorious. I needed that sleeping in really bad. Generally Saturday is the dad sleep in but tomorrow we’re gonna go to a young kids birthday up in far flung suburb like Lansdale. Gotta pick up the rental car at 10:30 AM. Will probably be getting up around 8:30 AM. Anyway, that sleep felt reallygood. I knew that might being released anytime before 1 PM wasn’t gonna happen so I took full advantage of it. Also, I knew I wasn’t getting paid. Mary treated me to some of her coffee from Papa wands in North Palm Beach, Florida, and then had a bowl
of cereal and made like like a tree and left at noon. Mike told me the ambulance was gonna pick him up at noon. Well ended up. He didn’t get back to his place till 1:30 PM. Got all his mail and his Mom’s Meals in. I will not be working Monday because of this EMG appointment and he is visitingDr Shaby. He’s a chief medical officer you know. Mike always says that. Anyway, it’s 344 heading to Yoga now.  Well, it was taught by Katelynn who’s going to Puerto Rico next week. It was a good class. We were in the fourth floor. Anyhow, afterwards, we went back and chilled out and ordered some Indian food and watched a split version of law and order where they had it on SVU and the regular show. It was good.
