Thursday, December 28: More Fun w/ CVS Caremark Pharmacy

Well this morning I got up and got a little bit late to Mike’s. The

 ride from SEPTA was uneventful which is always good and then I just merely went to Mike’s and dida  little sweeping and then went on an errand. Mike found out 

that the Rite Aid is officially closing on January 11, 2024. I had a feeling it was closing so it’s not a complete
shocker. After I got back with Mike Mary  

 said she went to Ray and found out the prices of one of the activities. She figured it would be close to $500 an extra expenses once we got there. Then, got a notice from CVS that

 they’re going to mail my prescriptions over. I called them up and found out that they didn’t approve. The prior

 is the authorization and I told the doctor and I went back-and-forth 



with them. I have a nice dossier. The woman was very nice on the phone. It’s a prior authorization group that’s incompetent
mean I have a whole thing on my Notes app about this bullshit so I left it that , that would either be 24 hours for the pre-authorization or 48 hours for the preop authorization

 before they would mail it in. I did give my credit card information so when they’re ready to mail it to just bill me and it’ll be mailed hopefully sometime before January 14 when I’m off to Costa Rica. It’s still drizzly outside even though weather doesn’t show any rain.  it’s 3:45 PM heading over to yoga class.  
Class was very hot! Good thing I brought Gatorade and water with me because I drank that stuff right up. I then took a shower and got some more water and drink half of that water before 

Vinyasa class. Asia don’t take Vinyasa class on Thursdays but today was the last class so I did. Mary did as well. I got my third thing of 

water today just now it’s 654. I have CODA wish I could go there early and sleep upstairs for a minute, but there’s an AA meeting 
but anyway hopefully the rain drizzle stopped. I went over to Mary’s 

and just relaxed and skipped the CODA meeting because I was tired and 

it felt good. Just lying down and resting. I left there around 10:30 and 

called to 21 and came home. That resting was really clutch. then to the final week of 2023 is closing out.

Wednesday, November 30: Mike’s on a Rainy Hump Day

This morning I got up after hitting the snooze twice which is unusual for me. I had my breakfast and packed up yoga clothes even though I 

probably can’t go to yoga, but stranger things have happened so I came prepared. I was very fortunate that the rain didn’t start till after I got to Mike’s 

on time at 8:00 AM. Then it just started raining and it’s been drizzling

 ever since it’s not a torrential rainfall thank God but it is a 10 mile an hour breeze 

and drizzly. I was a little tired from being all cloudy and stuff.

 I put up his curtain and did the laundry down in the basement. I’m gonna go to 

therapy and then go to Ardmore. Wes asked me to join the YMCA to play pickle ball with him

. I just thought of it now as of 1:52 PM that maybe he could join and I can come 

as a guest. It’s $80 a month to join the YMCA if you’re not a senior.  

I watch a lot of TikTok today and ate one of my Indian meals  which wasn’t bad. It’s kind  of a pain to scoop the stuff out of the pouch, but other than that it’s  fine. There is no way I could go to yoga today. I might get up early for the crack of dawn class to get in my yoga. Anyhow, I went 
to my appointment today and I I think I got stuff done that’s all I need to say. By the time I came out the rain, it stopped, which is really a relief because I didn’t

 have any umbrella or anything. I walk to the commuter train and headed out to the main line. I wasn’t singing and dancing, but you 

know it doesn’t really matter. I think I might grab a bag of chips present again there’s chips. Yeah maybe I won’t do that then. Anyhow, it’s 

Wednesday and nothing from the state yet. I thought for sure it be next week. Good thing I didn’t give my notice yet because I think 

there’s going to still dangle me around and what not. I’ll just keep working with Mike. That is all. Well I went and helped 



with Lynne’s printer. She got a new printer and it took me a little bit but I think it’ll work.

 I guess I’ll find out later tonight. Also had some a bite to eat 

and watched doc Martin. I forwarded the train it got there about six minutes

 late. It’s now 1018 or about to go 
to Overbrook very slowly. I managed to get home by around 11 o’clock and had some yogurt so much a few videos. It’s gonna be busy day tomorrow. I may try to go to yoga early 

in the morning or maybe at four but I’m supposed to meet Larry and Wayne by 530 I’m thinking of getting up at the crack of dawn but I don’t know.
