Sunday, December 15: Mom. Football w/Friends

Hey there, boys and girls today is Sunday, December 15, 2024 or halfway through the month of December. That means the real holiday

season is pressing against this extra hard. Anyhow, I woke up to Dorchester and Mary gave me an Uber ride back to my place so I could quickly catch the 10 o’clock

bus out to Riddle Village. That was very nice of her! I then got home had about 20 minutes to sort myself out empty

my dirty yoga, clothes and spring into action. I then went to 69th St. caught the bus and met up with David Around 11:15 AM. We

then went downstairs to the cafeteria. Technically they don’t want people from the third floor to eat there because I don’t know but Dave managed

to get a reservation in a couple times in the last two months. Anyhow, I had a quick breakfast of scrambled eggs
with scramble. Eggs weren’t half bad actually. We talked to mom for a

little bit and Dave and I did a little catching up. I told him Bob visited and I got a

new bed for Mike. He asked questions about that. Anyhow, after that, Dave

and I talked about stupid Maga people and the grift that’s coming along courtesy

of the Russians and Hungary Viktor Orbán. Anyway, found out that the

trolley is now Bus. Every so often they just decide to close the tracks and do “

repairs“to the trolley rails. This means the trip will be 15 minutes

longer. That’s how inefficient driving is compared to public transit at times. I got home and

immediately started the laundry and then decided I needed a

shower to get rid of the clothes I’ve been wearing and clean myself up. I only

got a little bit of a nap in but better than nothing. My sister’s thing

called me and we talkedwhile I was catching the train and sitting in the train and then walking towards the

Dorchester. I got some money out of the bank and saw the open streets

of Philadelphia where they close walnut street for pedestrians. Well,

Linda and Dave came by for the Eagles Steelers game. We had a really

fun time eating vegetarian chili and bread slices
and lemon lime chips. It was a good game. The Eagles played very well and beat the Steelers 27 to 13. The Eagles just kind of smooshed them. They

got the ball with 10 minutes. Left on the 4 yard line and just killed the clock just by well time passes, Hertz was very good today.
Pass for about 300 yards. Meanwhile,

we were having a good time in our conversations and I think it went along very well. this week is gonna be busy mailing out Christmas gifts going to a

yoga lesson, choir Reiki and assorted meetings and what not.

Sunday, January 28: Rittenhouse Square . and“ Together” Choir Concert

I woke up this morning not having slept that smoothly. I had a

dream. I had a DUI and had to ask for help to pass some kind of essay test that I had to turn in that it didn’t start. To top it off I woke

up. My neck was totally wrenched. Mary helped with a massage and

heating pad. We also turned the mattress around. I was running late today

set up time for the choir concert which I was dtold was was 1230 or 1 PM. Not

sure but I showed up and there were still this other choir seeing at

the church at 2110 Chestnut St. It’s now 1:25 PM. I’m just enjoying coffee

that Mary made and I’m sipping on it and catching up on my blogging.it’s another

pretty church with little modern extras. We rehearsed w/ the h The other

groups, Philly, gay man, scores, and afeminist singing group

called Anna crusis. It’s 3:45pm and Kansas City is leading

Baltimore 14-7 in the 2nd quarter. We are on break while the

Philadelphia Gay Men’s Choir is singing. 🎶 after they finish singing, we all went up and

sang together. We are family, what a wonderful world and a few songs

from our previous concert. It went pretty well I must say. And then went back to the dressing room. Got the rest of

my my jacket and then met Mary. She made a new friend while in the audience and we decided we wanted something to eat. I was starving we heard of, Mary Sue told me about a place
called Goldies and I’ve never heard of but apparently when I looked it up they place all over Philly. It’s a really good falafel sandwich place. Boy was that sandwich good Mary Sue was waiting

for the bus to show up which takes up the Rocksborough area and Mary and I went back at her place , we then went to a meeting there after which was pretty good. After the meeting

we went back to place talked and hung out for a little bit and then I headed back to good old Melbourne where I unpacked my stuff decided on approximate dates from Florida and confirmed the yen weekend from the 5th to 7th April

which basically goes from Friday afternoon all the way through Sunday early evening. I have to leave work early  for the training on that day. I have formally signed
up but I plan on it. I also decided on when
approximately. I’m going to visit Larry. Since I’m not visiting Alice, I’m gonna go visit Larry. So that’s the last week of Of February into March. I have to start looking up airfares..
