Wednesday, December 4: Arrival in Philly

Tuesday, December 3: Last day in California

Today after another nice night of sleep, we got up around 11 AM 

and had a nice quiet breakfast of cereal and super coffee and all things delightful to the mind. We got ready to pack and talked with Alice for a little bit. Mary was complaining about her

 phone, acting up and not responding to her touch when she tried to get into certain Apps like her messages, etc. Mary decided to call
Apple Support they kept on the phone 

for about 40 minutes. They wanted us to grab a laptop and download iTunes Alice Lynnn, her laptop but there’s 
no way I’m downloading iTunes to another

 person‘s computer. So, he recommended us to go down to the Apple Store so we went down to North County Mall home of Macy’s and target and went 

to the Apple Store there while we were there we had a 3:10 PM appointment and stayed there for About an hour and a half. This guy was really helpful. He told me based on the diagnosis

 I had on my phone back in September that I should be getting a new phone ASAP. He doesn’t think my phone will last till September of next year. He had this 

idea also going ahead and buying an Apple Mac computer and using iTunes on it to save my photos and then returning it and they’ll allow at least 14 day

 return policy. We called Uber and we’re waiting in front of the cheesecake factory because one of the drivers dropped us. It’s now 5:17 PM. We have to leave 

Poway in about 2️⃣ hours. We are waiting for our flight, it’s now 923 and Mary had the funniest thing happened to her. Let me leave it to her to tell the story.
 

I just had the most bizarre thing happen here at the SD airport. my name was called over the intercom to speak to the Gate 31 attendant. When I got there she told me my records showed I had a “pet in cabin“ with me & I hadn’t yet paid for it. 😂😂I assured her I did not!!  

They don’t converse with TSA pre-check so info didn’t come from there — she said that info could’ve been given at any time, incl when the reservation was made!!  😝😝

Yeah, that was funny. I’ve never heard of anything like that. At least it’s in the last or do anything so it’s just funny not inconvenient or anything. I’m loving it.

It’s gotta be Mark‘s fault. 😁😁😁

It’s now 9:25 PM and we’re gonna get ready to board in probably 20 minutes cause 
we’re group 6 of our red eye. Well, anyway, it’s now 10:10 AM and they’re rolling the plane out 

in the tarmac. Alice liked Mary story about the pets and we talked to Alice via

 text for a little bit. Everyone else is probably asleep in the East Coast. Well, I got

 my 20 minutes of free 
Wi-Fi so I’m just adding some words now. The flight went off smoothly looking at blue sky with Mary. You haven’t been a very quiet flight it’s 12:13 PM Pacific time. We’re supposed to arrive in about three hours.

Monday, December 2: Clams on the Half Shell

After staying up till close to 3 AM watching British drama Sherwood, I 

got up at Around 11 AM. Mary and I had breakfast and we talked out for a little bit and it was very delightful. It’s another nice,  mild day here in Poway. We decided that I would get 

some shorts to replace the ugly ones that I have. So we went to the Target. It 

was a nice walk and we’re trying on 32 and 34 size shorts. I can’t
 find size 33, which is my ideal. I talked to Mike this morning and to sit it out him being in the hospital and rehab for the next week and also the fact that 


his caregiver that substituted for me stole ALL his money about $1500 worth. Rent’s not  going to be paid till it gets resolved. It’s a little scary. well, Mary 

and I finished managed to find a nice pair of shorts and they were half price so they’re only $14 which 
is a great deal. We looked online and nothing 

was really there but that’s OK. We were pretty tired from that walk. I don’t know why I think because  We went to bed late last night and I think that just slowed 

us down. Anyhow, we got back from target relaxing in the kitchen, then went outside
and Alice’s driveway and stayed there till 

about 5:30 PM and we went in because it got a little bit cold. Eventually, we’re going to have some dinner. Well, Maryann and I decided to order just a  A regular pizza cause we didn’t wanna pay Uber eats or DoorDash. So the pizza was really good.

regular old pizza so we could avoid DoorDash and Uber eats and pay like $10 more for delivery. So we did that and watched murder in suburbia. A BBC series that lasted two years. It was pretty funny and entertaining I must say. Much more lighthearted than that BBC show Sherwood. Anyhow, we decided to go to bed at a reasonable hour this evening, so that’s what we did.

Sunday December 1: Mission Beach

Hi!! this morning we woke up very slowly casually around 11 o’clock. 

We had breakfast and chilled out hours for a while. It was very relaxing. I’ve been charged up my phone brought all my dirty clothes down to get them washed

 and mellowed out for a while. Next thing you know we’re going to the Mission Bay yacht club with Alice. So we drove out to Mission Bay. It was a beautiful 

day out today and we got to hang out there for a bit then Alice took her bike and Mary and I took a stroll down Mission Beach for

 about an hour and 15 minutes. We went to a couple of cheese little stores look for shorts, looked at the beachand took lots of videos and pictures. We met Alice afterwards

 and ate at the Mission Bay yacht club. Allison and I had fish and chips in Marietta turkey club sandwich and the food was absolutely delicious. We just chilled out inside and enjoy 




talking to each other and eating the delicious food. after we came back from eating, we hung out and watched a British crime drama based in 

Nottingham England you know the famous place with the sheriff of 

Nottingham. It sent it around a coal mining area of England during 



the minors strike of 1984. It was an excellent show, and we were 

watched all of it till the end and had so many pots and twists that was quite fascinating for sure. The Eagles 🦅 beat the Baltimore Ravens 24-19. Saquon Barkley had a good game defense, mostly held Lamar Jackson 
and Derrick Henry and check. The ravens scored their last touchdown with 5️⃣ seconds

 left in the game. Eagles are now 10 and 2 on the season they’re keeping

 up  with Detroit Lions. Alice Maryann and I watched Sherwood. It’s a British/BBC drama held 

in the North of England in a village that had a lot of minors during the minor

 strike of 19 83–84. It was excellent it was series one and there were six episodes and we watched all of them actually last night. We watched series 2 to 6. It was excellent..
