· Career Development: (1999-Present) Work with Cash Assistance recipients in finding employment. Conduct referrals to determine appropriate job programs. Ensure clients receive timely support. Assist outside agencies with job development functions to increase clients’ self -sufficiency.

· Intake Eligibility: (1996-99) Determined initial eligibility for all public assistance programs offered by the Commonwealth. Conducted detailed interviews and analyzed information to determine the level of assistance entitlement. Interpreted state and federal policies to assist in eligibility decisions.

· Ongoing Caseload: (1992-96) Maintained an active caseload of 200 families. Conducted interviews for public assistance programs such as TANF cash assistance, Medical Assistance and Food Stamps eligibility. Provided assistance benefits and communicated with outside agencies on policy. Conducted six-month reviews of each family receiving benefits.

Comey Institute, Saint Joseph’s University (Teacher part-time) 2001-2002
· Provided instruction in computer literacy class portion of Job Development program for a multi-cultural program. Develop adult students’ basic keyboarding skills, MS Word and the Internet. Worked with a team teaching model. Program goal was to prepare students to re-enter workforce.

· President, Friends of Barkan Park – Since beginning in 2000 spearheaded raising $110,000 for park renovations by writing grants. Created ties with disparate neighborhood groups. Developed Community Vision Statement, Strategic Plan, Volunteer base, City of Philadelphia support.
· Member Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, Millville NJ
· Block Captain, Walnut Hill Community Association – Facilitated first block party in 20 years as well as block clean-ups.
