Monday, July 6: Wills Eye, Dog Walking and Hellacious ThunderStorm😲

Well I got up really early thinking I go to the virtual meeting but I ended up getting caught up in YouTube and eating and next thing you know it I was really tired and had to take a 20 minute nap  to get more sleep. I then called Pat

etting ready to leave so I figured I would hop on that bus and head on down and walk the dogs. The plan was I walk the dogs and then he’ll pick me up at 10:45 AM and he would drive me

own to the Wills eye pediatric location on Highland Avenue in Abington. I went upstairs cleaned up and walk the dogs. It was hotter than hell already. It was 90° at 10 o’clock and that apartment is on the second floor

with no AC. I charged  my phone and did some work on my blog post Chronicle of July 5.  Pat pick me up at around 11 AM and we cruised on down towards Abington. That’s approximately a 42 to 45 minute ride

ia automobile. It’s also about an hour and a half by public transportation. That’s how I’m gonna get home. I arrived here in plenty of time. Are you then had my Pepsi at
the cafeteria and was escorted in the back around
1:15 PM where I am waiting now. But the doctor did see me was the same one that I saw back in March. She tested my eyes and everything is about the same. She said the surgery would be sometime
in August they would call me. She said I
would  need to take five days off from work and take eyedrops for my eye during the first

ouple of days afterwards. It’s a 45 minute surgery. I then left and was going to head out and a huge thunderstorm

ere and there is no way I was leaving the building because there was a tremendous thunderstorm for sweeping through that was blowing rain
and thunder and lightning and I heard hail. There’s no way I could even walk five minutes without getting soaked so I figured I would go  get some lunch  At the hospital cafeteria while I

as waiting for the storms to subside. I got myself a salad package because I haven’t eaten any salads in a while. I watch stuff on YouTube and that was entertaining

enough it’s now 4:05 PM I got a little bored of being in the cafeteria. I need to see how awful still is outside. Well went out so I decided I would
see if Uber would  take me to the train station at Jenkintown but that’s $20 so I

et screw THAT noise and I just walked it!  I walked and it drizzled on and

off  for a little while then finally stopped. I got to the train station with about 30 seconds

fare ticket. They never did Dean my ticket so I’m saving it for a rainy day I guess. I think I’m gonna go home first and then go to the dogs. Well I did go home first and had a couple of smoked
amosas snacks and then decided that I needed to take a nap. I was pretty tired from all the walking in the rain and humidity etc. I took about a 40 minute nap. Pat then
came down the stairs and offered me a ride

down for a ride to West Philly. Of course I took him up on that offer because it was the only way to go frankly. He got me there very
quickly. Well taken care of dog business I

alked on the phone and the mess wasn’t too bad. There’s only a few days left.

eanwhile back at the ranch I go back to work tomorrow and the doctor says it is a one and

00,000 chance that infection will cause my loss in my right eye. Going to a

friend of mine this is all said before. I guess I wasn’t paying attention. Meanwhile Covid-19 rates on in  the United States which is an outlier along with Brazil in combating the virus.. We elected

the worst guy to handle a pandemic which happens once every hundred years and God for bid we should never elect another guy like trump in the next hundred years
