Thursday, June 29: Mike @ Physical Rehab & Yoga

It is the dawning of the age of nefarious the age of Aquarius. Oh yeah. Today we woke up with dirty

air. The air quality index was 103 which is dangerous to sensitive individuals with lung problems. You know people like my friend Michael are working with. It’s much better than

it was 3 weeks ago when it hit in the mid 300s around 350s. Anyhow, I got there at 7:15 AM because he said he’s being picked up at 7:15 AM found
out that the appointment was at 8:45 and the

pick up at 7:45. As I was approaching the rehab place, which is a block from his house, I saw that the van service guy. He said he had Michael WARD, but at 7:45 PM after a little

confusion we got them on the wheelchair. This wheelchair with ginormous

the rain guy barely was able to fit, the wheelchair on the lift. We then

went to the doctors office. There was an OCF coffeehouse nearby so I went over there

to pick up some coffee for both of us. We hung out outside for about 40 minutes and ran into

a nice social worker name Wendy who Mike remembers from the last

time he was at this rehab place his wheelchair was too big to enter

the doors so we had to use a walker provided by the doctors office. It’s now 9:38 AM

and Mike has been playing right now and I’m just watching YouTube videos. Well

it’s 10:43 AM and Mike got clearance to leave Rehab so he’s gonna leave tomorrow. His foot is healed nicely and we’re now waiting for the band pick up which you know it’s pretty slow and I am pretty hungry so I’m gonna

grab one of those vendor muffins if I can get to one and then take a nap. It’s 11:30 AM the van finally showed up. We waited for at least an hour. I am so tired right now it’s not even funny. Can’t wait till I get lunch and then

sleep for an hour. So I did go back to Mike’s and did nap but I got kind of chilly from the AC had to turn it off and did sleep OK I am

damn tired so I got Mike his Pepsi he wanted and that’s that. The sun is out and still a little hazy, and I intend to go to Yoga,

which will be a trip if you’re not going for two weeks. anyhow, it’s now 3:41 PM. I’m going to yoga for the first time in two weeks.
Feel a little better putting a little bit of super

coffee in my gut. Just found out through the social worker that they wanted to stay two weeks, but Mike’s gonna lobby for just one week.
He’s a little worried about getting

his business done. And we thought of getting them to write a letter

stating he has medical issues. so the next week’s gonna be interesting just like my blog ha ha ðŸĪŠðŸ˜‚ The Supreme Court  today killed off affirmative action for poor/minority people. Of course it does not apply to rich

kids like Donald Trump Junior for George Bush. well, I went to my first hot yoga class in over two weeks. It was kind of rough but you know I’ve worked. I powered through it and it
was a small class which was helpful I think. I socialize a tiny bit, and

then I just went to the Vinyasa class afterwards. It was a decent class ended up getting warmer at the end.
z l That class had about seven people in it
and it was pretty chill. Talk by the same teacher who taught the 75 minute class earlier. I’m gonna get back
Mike’s and pick up the ice pack and get something to drink

and then maybe catch the Broad Street line to the meeting that starts at 8:15

which is an hour from now. I made it to the meeting on time and it was pretty good. It was sparsly

attended, but we read from this handbook and it was a he got some good points across. There was a monthly meeting I stayed there for as long as I could, then I took Uber back because I just wanted to talk on the phone on the way back and then make some dinner and it was pretty tasty.

Wednesday, June 28: Back to Work w/ Humidity

This morning I got up after an OK sleep. Ate my usual things and then I went down to catch the L in two trains going. Westbound were canceled

back to back due to operator and availability. Which is been a thing since the pandemic. Yeah, anyhow I guess it affected me because I think I waited at the station for at least 10 to 15 minutes and one did come and got me downtown. I’m still not used to the humidity yet. Thankfully today’s not rainy or super hot so that was a break for me. I feel OK just a little disoriented I guess maybe I don’t

know. Anyhow, I got the Mike’s the place looks fine Limbo the superintendent
of the building did some more work

on the place since I last left. It looks nice. He had a GFI outlet to the outlet in over the sink which was good and he made the screen fit the window so we’re up in the window the screen will now NOTfall out. anyhow, I took a nap because I was pretty damn tired. It felt

good and I liked it very much. I killed an hour doing that and then I realized I had to get my ass going and go to Mike’s then go to the DM Clinical and then get a script. The DM Medical appointment

went pretty well I just stayed there a lot longer because I didn’t know

or I forgot that I could leave right after they threw the blood. It is a simple line of
questioning pleasure competency

test like can you make a clock and draw with 11:10 AM looks like. Anyways, I passed that and

the woman drawing blood we did it very smooth like barely felt it. Anyhow, I then

walked to the Rite Aid got his punches description and realized I needed

to hit a vendor so I had to walk back a little bit then I got the vendor stuff brought it back to Mike and we talked for a bit and then I had to split and go back

and drop off his Scripps and rest my aching heel. I knew I had to hustle it up, because otherwise I’d be late for the 3:51 PM train towards Ardmore. Well, I made it with about 4

minutes to spare so it’s good that I gave myself exactly 21 minutes but that’s just walking briskly. Where the train was about three minutes
late and lo and behold. I’m a little bit late but it’s a little bit hazy not horribly hot but he’s in a bit humid outside. My heels a little bit better for the rest of my day is coming it’s 4:21 PM and I’m on

Lancaster Avenue. So glad I don’t get cable or streaming because it’s another way you get pickpocketed.  I think not having a car and not having cable makes it hard for me to afford stuff

at my amount of money because it just does. As you can see in the article,

Comcast gonna slap three bucks for Peacock used to be free huh like the ATMs but Comcast is a rip off company anyway they know they got people so there you go!!ðŸ™ðŸ˜ðŸ˜Ą. It’s now 5:30 PM about

to go out for a walk and stuff. but it’s now 7:26 PM walk was

very slow but fine my heels bit sore afterwards but we kept on Truckin. Saw people with

dogs. Pretty cool looking. Brutus and Alice the goon word came

up in discussion so I put a picture of Alice, the goon, loving Popeye in her own Way. Looks like the bad air is coming back tomorrow. I just read it in the paper. We watched a Netflix movie called “game
changers. It was pro vegan diet diet movie with extremely talented, talented athletes it talked about Tennessee, Titans, football players, and the one guy‘s wife, the guy could lift the weight of a horse, and an MMA fighter, who was the narrator. Carl Lewis was a vegan I found out. That interviews with scientists, etc. it last about an hour.
