Monday, April 29: Visit to Spa

After really funky ass sleep I got up and chowed down some of my muesli cereal and some coffee. I looked up the directions last night and was ready to go. I got up got dressed and headed on out. I had to walk about 15 minutes to the station, had to ask directions to get to the station cause I didn’t realize it was down below. Didn’t know that down inside the building. But I know now. I miss the one train, but I still will make it on time after my 17 minute walk once I get off the station. It’s a beautiful sunny day. It’s one of the nicest days I’ve had weatherwise since I got here. It’s now 10:31 AM. I made it with two minutes of spirits at 11:13 AM. I missed that first train. It was a nice walk getting here but at least it’s a sunny day. I’m right now in line for the spa. well, I stayed at the spa till about 3 PM. I went to do different saunas one was a finished sauna and one was an infrared sauna. I went to a whirlpool bath the swimming pool. I also did an aroma bath, which was pretty chill. I’ve then went up to the top floor and took a cat nap, which was really nice, I also had four samosas and nice hot coffee with whipped cream and then decided I would go to a recommended massage that Bob told me about. So I took the bus and it took me right there with no problem. Massage was excellent. It was a good hard time. Massage and I was very helpful. I confirmed that the Yoga appointment is 9 AM tomorrow so I want to go to that. I came back home and beat Lisa was sleeping and Bob was at work so I went out and took some more picturesand walked around. It was so nice out. Altering Lis to see all the people around and activity, etc., and the backdrop which was unbelievable itself.

Sunday, April 28: Visit to Haarlem and Teylers Museum

I slept in and Bob and I hung out drink coffee and then we went to Haarlem

via the train from Central Station. We were going to go to the windmill

museum, but it was sold out so we went to the tailors museum instead, which is right next to it, this museum had a little bit of it. It had

prehistoric bones. You know some really weird looking creatures that roamed
the Earth 65 million years ago this place is the oldest museum in Amsterdam and that’s saying something since this is old. It is
at least 400 years old.  Anyhow, the rest of the museum was 17th and 18th century art then they had scientific wonders of the 19th century which were really interesting including

a static electricity machine which was real big and it is literally real big, until battery power was invented. This thing was invented the early 1800s. I believe I don’t

have a picture of it. I was a little hesitant about taking pictures in the

place but towards the end I figured I’d get some pictures and I saw other people

with iPhone so I figured I would safe.  as we walked around it rain a

little bit. It was really strange Justice justice position seeing 400 year old buildings

and they had this kitty playground with a Ferris wheel and

you know rides and really cheesy music. It was quite strange. The way back we left and

on the way back Bob went shopping at the  Han supermarket

I hope to get went to the supermarket bought stuff and then we had dinner had pork and pasta with applesauce. Yeah I’ve eaten more meat protein this
week that I have in the last 2 years combined I swear to God, but it taste good and Bob knows how to cook. Lisa is coming back sometime tomorrow night , Bob helped me schedule

spa day for 11:15 AM. I believe it’s about €50 and no cell phone

at all while you’re in there because I’m gonna be naked just with a towel

and  a bathrobe. Meanwhile, Mary’s having a great time in San Diego

with her friend Kim they watched the Phillies beat the Padres. They

actually swept the Padres this past weekend. Actually, gonna go

visit my sister from June 5 to June 11. On June 1 I have a choir concert choir practice is tomorrow and I’m not gonna be able to make that practice obviously one of these practices I do have to zoom assuming I can actually zoom this line without my regular cell phone service

Saturday, April 27: Kings Day in the Netherlands 👑

Hi!👋 After a late night of partying to the wee hours, I got up

around noon and woke up to the party. Just begins to start. It had rained earlier today but the rain stopped. It’s 1:02 PM and it got cloudy again but no rain so hopefully the weather is right there people selling all kinds of wears and loud music so we’re gonna go over to Neighbors hang out with them. so we hung out with the neighbors and then we decided to take a stroll along the street. It’s been mostly cloudy, but there’s no rain in the forecast so that’s all that really matters. We looked around and there’s all kinds of Color, red, white, and blue
people selling knickknacks and stuff anything for sale. we then went back and met up with a friend Bob that he met when he moved next-door to him. They just flew in from LA nonstop via KLM airlines. I’ll make note of that if I ever fly from Alice’s to here again. Anyhow I entered the contest, throwing tennis balls and I actually hooked up one of the tennis balls and got a little medallion and I post it so of course I put it on Facebook and Instagram. There was a swing set up right on one of the bridges over the canal. We could swing back-and-forth over the water. There wasn’t any anyway I was going to do that as I said the Bob was going to quit while I’m ahead. Last thing I wanna do is fall fling water with all my clothes on the only jacket I have with me. But it looked pretty cool. I must say. I turned inside out to make myself even more orange because that’s the official colors of the Netherlands. Of course the official flag is tri-color with  Red white and blue with red on the top white in the middle and blue on the bottom. Similar to the flag of France.🇫🇷 Netherlands flag is different as you can see 🇳🇱. After a bit of hanging on the sidewalk on the stoop with Bob’s neighbors and friends group of us went walking around to check out the sites and different bands when they say bands, it’s not like guys with the guitars it’s guys spinning records. There’s some songs that I’ve heard a couple times that are really popular people go nuts and hear them and it’s totally euro to the max. We walked around it sprinkled a couple times on the way, but it never really rained hard at all. The sun came in and out at times. After a bit around 530 my phone died but it was cool only a half hour until we decided we took a break and we walk back to Bob’s place and take bathroom breaks for me. I took a charging break. I also bar Bob’s charge portable charger, which I ended up not needing, but I borrowed it.I’ve been trying to sort of not pay attention to the news, but I did read that Kristi Noem that asinine governor of South Dakota killed her dog not because it was dying because she was tired of its behavior. She’s truly a sick person perfect for Trump. I’m afraid. That one just shot in front of my face I wasn’t even looking for it. It was splashed all over the Internet like crazy. I’m just trying to keep those bad vibes away for now because they are bad vibes. Anyhow, we got back to Bob’s and and we did a little more walking and then, we went back to Bob hung out with their friends and later on we did a little shopping for food and the store was pretty chaotic ahead. You have to use your barcode from your receipt to get out because they’re a lot of thieves in the tourist areas I reckon. Bob knows the checkout system, but check out systems a bit intimidating. A lot of the supermarkets don’t accept credit cards in tourist areas but this one was a tourist are so , anyhow got back and I had bought a couple of souvenirs with me including a box and they still do some kind of jewelry box of some sort and another thing I forgot already. Anyway, Bob and I were pretty tired so we finished watching James Cohn movie rollerball. What a weird 70s movie that is.  It’s totally weird and then we started watching this movie about Japanese mafia guys and they’re all attractive. The man and the women were all really attractive. Bob likes it but we stopped after a while. I ended up staying even up even later editing and the Internet. I have tons of pictures  And mostly video which I’m gonna turn into pictures. Also, Mary was gonna be catching her plane out too. I believe her first stop is Anaheim. After she goes Anaheim, she’s going to go to Los Angeles to see the Dodgers and then the Dodgers San Diego to see the Padres .

Friday, April 26: Trip to Rijks Museum , Nap and Party

Today I woke up tired at 8:15 AM. I got up for my museum appointment

at the Rijks Museum I had to walk about 10 to 13 minutes to the central station where all the trains and buses run through. I was running late, but Bob said it didn’t

really matter that much. I brought my pass and my museum card with me. Man that museum is ginormous is so huge and

really cool it’s got all kinds of 16th and 17th century all the way up to the present other furniture and accoutrements that they

had some of the paintings in the early times are very realistic on site photographs. Then later on in the 19th and 20th century that were a lot more impressionist

including van Gogh of course. I didn’t go to the top floor because by that time I was pretty good fatigue so I decided
to wander about and head towards the butt, trolley stop and there are a couple souvenir stores and places to eat and I couldn’t decide

so I just had a thing of fries and Coke and right near the van Gogh museum which I’ll have to go some other point. I had a nice walk. it was
a really pleasant walk since it was sunny outside for the first time since I’ve been here well the sun was out often on two days ago, of course. Anyhow,  with two side streets and more
touristy area, but it was really cool side streets and alleys and just Opia of stimulation for the eyes and ears. I really enjoyed

it took a lot of pictures and videos. I didn’t get back to Bob and Bob was resting so I decided it would be a good
time for a nap and boy nap. I think I nap for about. I don’t know at least four hours  and I need every single bit of it. I think I’m still
catching

up on sleep from the flight and just not going to bed early enough. Bob

and I got caught up in this series about the Cold War and up

to the present. It was really well done. It was on Netflix. I believe we finished the series . Anyhow, I got up and Bob was doing some of his work. It’s now 7:30 PM. We’re

gonna be leaving in about 10 minutes to go to his friends house so I’m trying to catch up on all matter of blogging and pictures

and stuff like that. It’s pretty nice outside. I sit in this chair that I like because it’s right next to the charging station and I get a nice view of the outdoors.

my went to the party and it was pretty cool. People really nice and it was

pretty cool crowd. It wasn’t a huge party. It was a pretty mellow adult party.

After we stayed there till 10 we walked around the party was really gearing

up outdoors. we ran into this one section they have different

bands playing in this one section it was just out of control. It was dancing to Euro music and a big
ass mural mural but edifice of the king

and his wife and had streamers and fireworks and people just going nuts like it was 1999 and New Year’s and shit , we got into it.

We stayed up pretty damn late. It was a good time. It was like but I’m taking it all in.

I recorded it and get it down to seven minutes. I have total of at least
25 minutes, but I can’t put that on any kind of YouTube and nobody’s gonna listen to A for 25 minutes,  It was quite
the party atmosphere
It was quite unbelievable. There’s just one song on Eurovision that they really have gotten into Europe being Europe and it’s official entry for the Netherlands in the euro vision contest

in the fall.  The next day is the actual King day whether I’ll be partying again except it’s all day long. Also a lot of people are gonna be selling wears like a big street sale like they have at home. Where people to sell stuff, but this is a party on top of that stuff.

a but it was an experience. I won’t forget anytime soon.
